1. COURSE DESCRIPTION:

This course is designed to understand issues of environment

2. COURSE OBJECTIVES:

1. To understand environment and issues related to it.


2. To understand the processes involved in environmental management.
3. To learn the basic concepts of environmental audit, risk management and Environment
Management System

3. LEARNING OUTCOMES:

By the end of this course, students should have a good understanding of:
a. The big picture of challenges facing environmental management and sustainability,
and ways of seeing these challenges
b. The main aspects of environmental governance and management
c. How to improve environmental outcomes, including through behavior change.

4. INSTRUCTIONS/CRITERIA/GUIDELINES:

 Grading criteria
1) Quality of submitted assignments in terms of content and knowledge;
2) Originality of substance and ideas, research design, and innovative solutions;
3) Coherent organization of content;
4) Scholarship (citations and references where appropriate); Avoid Plagiarism!
5) Integrity and research ethics;
6) Demonstrated level of interest.
