AWS Envision Engineering Program Fact Sheet For AWS Customers
AWS Envision Engineering Program Fact Sheet For AWS Customers
The EE team specializes in technology capabilities that deliver exponential outcomes towards
digital transformation: Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning, IoT, Augmented/Virtual Reality,
Robotics, and Satellite. Prototypes may include additional supporting capabilities (like
serverless and analytics), but the focus is on this small group of our most strategic services to
deliver the art of the possible.
The customer and EE team will work very closely during the engagement. We start with an
onsite (virtual for COVID period) discovery session where we use Amazon’s “Working
Backwards” mechanism to align vision and identify the best problem or opportunity to solve
for your customer. Building the prototype occurs in 2-week sprints for an overall 4 to 6 week
time box. Demos of the evolving prototype will be reviewed by the overall team at the end of
each sprint for feedback.
Customers can expect to receive a working prototype, code and code walk-through, and a
prototype summary report with high level next step recommendations at the conclusion of
our engagement.

Any customer can work with their AWS account team or business development team to
request an EE prototype engagement. The EE program team will assess the use case fit
with the EE scope of services using the criteria listed above. If your use case is not a good
fit for an EE prototype engagement, we may be able to redirect you to other AWS
programs.
Absolutely. The EE team will provide a code review and hand-off to you and/or your
partner at the conclusion of our engagement. We will also provide high-level production
scaling recommendations to help you plan and scope the next step of your investment to
