THE DA VINCI CODE

A murder in Paris' Louvre Museum and cryptic clues in a number of district attorney Leonardo
da Vinci's most celebrated paintings cause the invention of a non-secular mystery. Dan Brown
was born June 22, 1964, Exeter, New Hampshire, U.S. he's American author wrote well-
researched novels that centered on secret organizations and had knotty plots. He was best known
for the Robert Langdon series that notably enclosed The Leonardo Code (2003). Brown’s initial
3 novels had very little success, with fewer than 10,000 copies sold-out. Brown’s success as an
author hit along with his fourth novel. In 2003, The Leonardo Code was released. The book
became a bestseller, about to the highest of the big apple Times trade edition list throughout its
initial week. The Leonardo Code is currently attributable with being one among the foremost
fashionable books of all time, with eighty one million copies sold-out as of 2009.
Dan brown wrote the mystery, thriller novel “The da Vinci code” which is a sequel to “angels
and demons” that weaved to a historical conspiracies into a fantastical tale about the Blood line
of Jesus Christ and the Holy Grail. The novel has caused such a stir is due to the Church’s
neglect to educate the people of true and prosper history regarding the Church. The blame for
this neglect may be placed at the feet of higher level authorities who are commissioned not only
to be the protectors of the truth of Scripture, but must also be the protectors of truth in general.
The author wanted to let the believer know about, how “The Priory of sion” (the secret
organization) and the Knight temper protected the blood line of Jesus Christ and the Holy Grail
from the sect of Roman Catholic Church, Opus Dei. “The da Vinci code” provides the
opportunity for Christians to fulfill this command while at the same time educating the Church of
true and prosper history.

Overall Evaluation
The novel “The Da Vinci code” is full of interpretations of common told stories, such as those of
Jesus life. If we talk about in generalization the most appropriate criteria to judge a book is first
to look their cover that what hidden messages are decoded in the cover to interpret by the
audience and the first chapter, that do they catchy or not?, in the “Da Vinci code” the cover
shows some hidden and mysterious messages and the paintings of “Mona Lisa” and the “The
Last Supper” by Leonardo da Vinci. When you start reading the first chapter you have engaged
in a lot of interest and mystery and will badly curious to know what happens next. I think the
author was unsuccessful to carrying out the purposes of the book because he claimed and
presented some historical facts that the Jesus married to Marry Magdalene and she gave birth to a
child and through this their bloodline goes, the other so called facts that he presented was the

presence of the Holy Grail. These historical events proclaimed by the author was so inaccurate
because there is no any scripture found in any Holy Book (Bible and Quran) that claimed that the
Jesus married to Mary Magdalene and they had any bloodline.
The evidences used by the author to prove his points are based the Holy Grail and the character
of Sophie Nevue the girl who knows the dark secret of the secret society of “Priory of Sion” that
she is the last member of the bloodline of Jesus and Mary Magdalene. For me and the majority of
the audience who either belongs to Christianity or Muslims are both criticizing these
information. The evidences he gave are not convincing at all because in Christianity or Islam
there is no such belief and there is no any single scripture in the Bible or Quran that hints that
Jesus married to Mary Magdalene and they have any child so this is false allegation which has no
any historical background at all.

Any writer had to have some qualities for writing something to get attention of reader. If writer
missed these qualities he could not able to get interested among people. Attention to details is
significant quality of any writer, until a writer is not be a good observer and notified subtle
Changes around characters. This is not only shows writer’s passion towards writing but get
Attention of reader very soon. And everything in the book “The Da Vinci code” has been
described Very carefully. Author of the book Dan Brown is well known writer for his thriller
novels. “The da Vinci code” is one of his these trilled novel which has been read all over the
world. I found it really interesting and gripping. After completing one page I was insisted to turn
next one because of suspense. Many of things are described in this novels like about western art,
architecture, religion and their Faiths and how they are protective about their beliefs and sacred
remains. Keep secret religious Societies. Remember their ancient cover ups and savage
vengeance. The thesis of the novel is that Jesus and Mary Magdalene were got married and had a
child. The book inscribed in an ingenious way in which numerological, symbolism, verbal
puzzles and Alternative
version of Christianity of the Holy Grail. We saw three kinds of characters in the book: first one
is “Opus Dei” who was belong to catholic and in the quests of Holy Grail and wanted to destroy
it and this sect is killing people to harsh it all up. The second are related to “Priory of Sion”
whose motive was protect the Holy Grail. Third one is scientist Tubing who wanted to prove his
own theory to the world and get rewards for that. For Accomplishment of his rectum he use
“Opus Dei” and “Priory of Sion” both but failed. In the end Opus Dei is destroyed, Tubing
caught by police and Priory of Sion resolve all the Clues and successfully achieve Holy Grail,
although it is a controversial hypothesis about the life of Jesus Christ and Catholic Church. But
all the characters and described very fascinating way and clearly that any reader could be
influenced with the writer writing. There are clues pointing everywhere in the Bible, historical
documents and in the work of art by Leonardo da Vinci. Complex codes and mysterious
massages that the novel claim very cleverly Although it is a fiction novel but all the art,
architecture, sect differences, historical documents are accurate Bart Ehrman says:
