Ex. a. Hachi ji ni moningu koru wo onegaishimasu. = A wake up call at 8:00am,

Ex. a. Hoteru ni kafe ha arimasuka? = Is there a café in the hotel?

4. Noun HA time KARA desu.


Ex. Choushoku ha nana ji kara desu. = Breakfast is from 7:00am

5. Time A kara Time B made.


Ex. Check-in ha gogo Juuni kara gogo nijuu made desu. = The check in is from 12pm to 2pm.

6. Noun HA nan ji KARA nan ji MADE desuka?


Ex. Eiga ha nanji kara nanji made desuka? = From what time to what time is the movie?

III. Bunkei (Expressions)


a. Kochira = is the polite form of “kore”.
ex. Kochira ha oheya no wifi password desu. = This is your room’s wifi password.
b. Degozaimasu = is a humble (honorific expression) equivalent of "--desu".
c. Sorekara = and then.

Counter for the floors of a building

1. 一階 ikkai 6. 六階 rokkai
2. 二階 nikai 7. 七階 nanakai
3. 三階 sankai/sangai 8. 八階 hakkai
4. 四階 yonkai 9. 九階 kyuukai
5. 五階 gokai 10.十階 jukkai

a. Room/place ha FLOOR ni arimasu.


Ex. Anata no heya ha sankai ni arimasu. = Your room is on the third floor

b. Floor, place DE time A KARA time B MADE degozaimasu.


Ex. Ikkai, dinning room de nanaji kara juuni ji made degozaimasu.
= From 7:00am to 12:00pm in the dining room on the first floor.
