MARKETING PLAN

Product

In marketing the product itself, the owners will make their advertisements and

campaign and let it spread through social media. In the advertisement, the actual

picture of the product will be included, the ingredients, the taste, and the health benefits

that one can get from it. For the campaign, the owners will promote the he isalthy

lifestyle campaign since it is the trend today and the product’s ingredients are healthy.

The owners can make a campaign for those whose sickness can be cured or lessen by

eating the product. Curiosity will be one of the business’ opportunities because target

market includes those who like exploring different foods. The logo will also be part of the

packaging and the owners will make the product presentable as much as they can.

They will provide important information in the packaging such as the manufacturing date

and the contact number in case customers would like to comment, ask, or even

complain at something.

In marketing the citrus sorbets, the owners will advertise the product through

word

of mouth, social networking sites such as Facebook and Instagram, and their own

website. All the necessary information regarding the ingredients used, nutritional

benefits, logo, tagline, actual picture,

Place

The owners will ensure that the retailers will handle the product properly so the

quality will not suffer. The owners will choose the stores they will be distributing their
product strictly based on their assessment. They will only choose those stores which

they think will be able to market and sell their product easily and those stores which

location is clean and accessible. In that way, unsold goods may be avoided or lessen.

Also there would be photos of the manufacturing site in our website so the consumers

will be assured that the product is clean and manufactured well.

Price

The selling price of the product will be ranging from Php 57.00- 73.00, which is

cost Php 17.00 more expensive than the cheapest brand available in the market.

However we will assure that the product is worth the price because it is all natural.

Promotion
In promoting the product, owners will offer a free taste since the taste of a pickled

kamias is unknown for most of the target. This may result to customers not buying

because of their conclusion of the product being not tasty so it’s a good idea to offer a

free taste to convince them to avail the product. If the owners found out a process in

which they can minimize the cost of production even more, they can offer promotions

such as buy 2 and take 1 for free for once in a while since the profit gained is more than

enough for the owners. The owners will also stand with their tagline “Bumili at Bumilib

Sa Sarap” and prove the consumers that it is not misleading. Owners can make a video

or a commercial for the product featuring the owners itself and post it online to advertise

the product to those social media users. It can be done since the owners have some

skills in video editing and photography.

People
The people in the business, can help market the product through its committed

and true service. For instance, putting proper measurements, and applying the proper

handling of food for health safety. For the mass, they can help market the product by

spreading out positive comments about the pickled kamias. The positive feedback then

turns into a great way to advertise the product.

Packaging
The packaging that we will use for our product is similar with the packaging used

by other competitors. We offer two different size of container which cost only 3 pesos for

the small sized bottle and 4 pesos for the medium sized bottle. It is a transparent so that

the design of our product like carrots will be easily shown for customers. When the

product is totally packaged, it will be sealed with a plastic seal which can protect our

product from spilling.

Positioning
Most of the consumers have the willingness and interest to buy our product,

because they used it as their side dish, and since, the target market of the owners of the

business “Bilimbilicious” are those people who usually lives in Batangas City. They are

actually the one who can get a chance to experience the healthy benefits and mouth-

watering taste of our product “Pickled Kamias”. Besides, based on an article about the

Target Market Analysis, “The best start for any positioning analysis is through gaining

knowledge of a product or service’s target market.” Furthermore, in positioning our

product, we would want to show to the market the most necessary attributes of our

product. We would want to take the chance of advertising our product to introduce the

good quality of the production of our output, and persuade more consumers. In this
case, it would not be difficult for us to market our products to the consumers and earn

profit, at the same time to create an overall identity for the product we will offer.
