Areas to focus on:
▪ Identifying 28 arabic letters.
▪ Recognizing all Harakah, Sukun and Shaddah. ▪ Reading letter by letter slowly and steadily. ▪ Joining the letters to make one word. YELLOW
Areas to focus on:
▪ Recognizing letters and harakah faster.
▪ Producing different sounds for each letters ▪ Joining 2 words or more. PINK
Areas to focus on:
▪ Reading 2 words and more in one breath.
▪ Ending the recitation correctly. ▪ Getting rid of all types of Lahn Jali. ▪ Working on flow and confidence in reciting. PURPLE
Areas to focus on:
▪ Having confidence and better flow in reciting.
▪ Ensure Lahn Jali of all types are kept to a minimal. ▪ Applying Tajweed rules one at a time into the recitation. RED
Areas to focus on:
▪ Increasing in confidence and flow of recitation.
▪ Producing correct makhraj for all letters. ▪ Applying all tajweed rules consistently. ▪ None or rare Lahn Jali mistakes. BROWN
Areas to focus on:
▪ Reciting with a good flow.
▪ Applying sifatul huruf into recitation consistently. ▪ Ensuing consistency in recitation speed and voice. ▪ Lahn Jali and lahn Khofi is rare to none. BLACK
Areas to focus on:
▪ Reciting with correct Makhraj, Tajweed Rules and
Sifatul huruf. ▪ Work towards achieving strong consistency in recitation Duration For Each Colour Group ▪ White & Yellow~ Students usually spend less than 3 months in each level if they attended classes regularly and work hard on improving their recitation. ▪ Pink ~ This level focuses on strengthening the student’s recitation foundation. Hardworking students will take up to 6 months in this level. ▪ Purple ~ This is first level where students start incorporating Tajweed rulings. Hardworking students usually takes less than 6 months to incorporate all the Tajweed rulings. ▪ Red ~ Hardworking and serious students usually take 6 months or less. ▪ Brown ~Hardworking and serious students usually need 6 months up to a maximum of 12 months to reach high level of consistency in order to move to BLACK.
