RUNNING SEQUENCE - PNEUMATIC AND ELECTRICAL SUPPLY NORMAL SHUTDOWN SEQUENCE - PNEUMATIC AND ELECTRICAL
SUPPLY
The ECB monitors the oil temperature, pressure and
level. An APU normal shutdown is initiated when the MASTER
SW pushbutton is released out.
If the APU bleed air is selected, the ECB sends a
signal to close the APU bleed load valve and initiate
a cool down cycle so that the APU shutdown is delayed.
If the APU bleed air is not selected, the APU shuts
down immediately.
The normal shutdown signal closes the fuel solenoid
valve of the Fuel Control Unit.
This causes the APU to shut down.
