__________
MORAL RECOVERY BY INFLUENCING THE WORLD THROUGH
GOD'S WORD
Key Scriptures: Matthew 5: 13-16
13 “You are the salt of the earth; but if the salt loses its flavor,
how shall it be seasoned? It is then good for nothing but to be
thrown out and trampled underfoot by men.
14 “You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill
cannot be hidden. 15 Nor do they light a lamp and put it under
a basket, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all who are
in the house. 16 Let your light so shine before men, that they
may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.
OBJECTIVE:
To ignite a holy passion in the hearts of God’s servants the
blessed opportunity to be given the privilege of serving God’s
purposes that impacts not just the quality of people’s life on
earth but most of all their eternity. The ministry of influencing
the world with God’s eternal word!
CENTRAL IDEA is about accepting the challenge in “Becoming
God’s instrument of His life-giving and transforming power
and influence to a lost and dying world THROUGH HIS
WORD.”
WHAT IS THE MORAL RECOVERY PROGRAM?
- IT IS A MOVEMENT WHICH AIMS TO MOBILIZE ALL
FILIPINOS FOR NATION BUILDING THROUGH THE PRACTICAL

AND TO AWAKEN US THE POWER OF THESE VALUES IN

MORAL VALUES THAT WE NEED TO STRENGTHEN AS

FILIPINOS:
1. MakaDiyos ( THE FATHER’S HEART )
( EXAMPLE IS THE STORY OF THE PRODIGAL SON - LUKE 15:20-
22 )
- THE HEART OF GOD FOR THE LOST

7. WHAT IS THE REPUTATION /CHARACTER THAT YOU WANT
TO LEAVE BEHIND TO YOUR CHILDREN?
2. Maka Pamilya ( LEADING MY FAMILY – DEUTERONOMY
5:6-7 )
- FAMILY IS GOD’S IDEA
- GOD HAS A SPECIFIC PLAN AND PURPOSE FOR EACH
FAMILY
- OUR HOME MUST BE AN INVIRONMENT WHERE GOD IS
HONORED
- DISCOVERING THE PURPOSE OF MY FAMILY
- GOD SET A DIVINE ORDER IN THE HOME
- OUR FAMILY MUST BE GOD-CENTERED

THEM
1. God’s word brings light! (Psalm 119:105). Every time God’s
word is preached , light shines into the hearts and minds of
men. The degree through which we can influence the world
through God’s word has so much to do with the degree we
allow God’s word to influence our lives first.
 The world is in darkness, it needs light... The world is
corrupted, it needs the desalinating and preserving effect of
salt...
 SALT gives 1) Flavor- giving capacity and 2) Preserving
capacity.... Salt makes the taste of food that is being prepared
to be acceptable to the appetite. Salt gives flavor to an
otherwise bland, tasteless, or bad tasting world... CHRISTIANS
gives the needed flavor given a certain situation. THEY MAKE
A DIFFERENCE or they are DIFFERENCE - MAKERS.
 LIGHT gives 1) Illuminating/Clarifying capacity and 2)
GUIDING and HOPE- GIVING CAPACITY.
2. GODS’S WORD BRINGS LOVE - 1 John 4:16-19
And so we know and rely on the love God has for us. God is
love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in him. In
this way, love is made complete among us so that we will
have confidence on the day of judgment, because in this world
we are like him. There is no fear in love. But perfect love
drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The
one who fears is not made perfect in love. We love because he
first loved us.(NIV)
3.GOD’S WORD BRINGS LIFE - John 1:1-4
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God,
and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning.
Through him all things were made; without him nothing was
made that has been made. In him was life, and that life was
the light of men.(NIV)
