lesson The class will be divided into five (5) groups. Each group will be given a set of pictures to be arranged according to its category. The students are given 5 minutes only to
do the activity and be presented in class afterwards.

practicing new skills # 2 For the whole class activity, the teacher is going to choose one (1) or two (2) volunteer students who will serve as reporters/presenters, four (4) volunteer students who
will hold the flag lets of different personality types. Every student-participant is given the chance to choose whatever category will he/she be belonging depending from the
raised or presented picture.
Ask volunteer student to present the whole class activity: (Be sure the student will use the word signal for classifications and transitional expressions in presenting their
output)

F. Developing mastery You will be given paragraphs with different topics. From there, you are going to use a graphic organizer to summarize the topic, but in presentation, be sure to use the
(leads to Formative Assessment 3) transitional expressions you have learned from the discussion.

well? Why did these work? Group Presentation. The presenters have the chance to share what they have done while the other groups can give positive or constructive criticism to them.
Cooperative learning. This worked very well in groups in doing their tasks in a given time because of the help of every member in that group.
Brainstorming. This technique is helpful to students in generating and connecting their ideas in mind without regard to spelling, grammar or topic. It helps them produce
raw material and helps them overcome the “writer’s block”.
Team Idea Mapping Method. This technique helped the students collaborate and increase their ideas without rejecting any idea from each member.
Graphic Organizing. A great help to the students in selecting and organizing their outputs on time.
