Reading Comprehension - Food Fright

British doctors are worried because many British teenagers eat an unhealthy diet of crisps, sweets, and fatty foods, and over 1 million British school children are overweight. While some teenagers claim they don't have time for healthy food, an unhealthy diet can lead to health problems later in life. Fast food restaurants originated in America but are now popular worldwide, fulfilling an economic need. However, a steady diet of fast food lacks nutrients and will not keep the body healthy long-term. Some parents blame the proliferation of fast food restaurants for high-calorie, low-nutrition meals. Now doctors are educating youth on nutrition through books and games to help them feel better and live longer with a balanced diet.
