- Release the DITCHING pushbutton switch (the ON legend goes off) to open the ventilation skin valves and the outfl
ow valve.

(1) Do a general visual inspection of the airframe from the ground for correct condition.

You must not remove the protection from the probes.
Protection from the probes is removed just before flushing of air data system.

(1) If the aircraft was parked for more than 4 weeks, do the disinfection of the potable water system Ref. AMM TASK 38-10-0

Do the water drain procedure one hour after the end of the refueling procedure.

G. Flushing of the Air Data System (ADS)
(1) Conditions for flushing
You must only flush the related ADS(s) for which one or more of these conditions apply:
- The aircraft was in parking for more than 1 month. Thus:
. You did not do the flushing of the ADS 1 month or less before the return-to-service, or
. You did not install all the probe covers immediately after this flushing.
- All the probe covers were not installed immediately after the last flight of the aircraft.
- There was a report of air data problems during the last flight of the aircraft.

- The aircraft was operated or parked in very bad weather conditions (dust storm or sand storm or snow storm or he
avy rain) or in a atmosphere with haze (foreign material can collect in the lines).
- A probe cover was not found in position during all the periodic ground check.
- A probe cover was not found in position at the time of the return to operation.
- There is water, sand or dust on the static and pitot probes when you remove the protection equipment.
(2) If one of these conditions occurs, you must flush the related ADS.
(a) Flush the total pressure line of the Air Data Module (ADM) Ref. AMM TASK 34-10-00-170-001.
(b) Flush the static pressure line of the ADM Ref. AMM TASK 34-10-00-170-002.
(c) Drain and flush the standby static and standby total pressure-lines of the ADM Ref. AMM TASK 34-22-25-170-001.

(1) De-energize the aircraft electrical circuits Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-862-002.
(2) Make sure that all external connections (external power supply, etc.) are disconnected from the aircraft.
(3) Remove the tag from the Captain side stick or write in the log book that the protection covers/devices are removed.
(4) Remove the warning notice from the cockpit.
(5) Remove all the fixtures, tools, test and support equipment used during this procedure.
