FLOWS EVENTS
Conditional flows must be named consistently All events should be names
If conditional flow is present, there must be All events must be attached to a task
at least two conditions Intermediate messages must not be used within the
Message flow must be named main pool
Message flow cannot connect to objects with the same pool Message event labels should end with “Sent” or “Received”
Flows should not be crossed End events must not occur in external pools
Sequence flows should be positioned on the bottom All interrupting events should occur in the main pool

A gateway should flow from a task describing the decision with an OR gateway
DATA OBJECTS
Applications should be written in uppercase and “Data Object” marker should be used
Documents referred to while performing a task should be marked as “Date Output”
Document repository should be marked as “Data Store” and should be in uppercase
(Example: SHARED DRIVE, FILING CABINET, COMPACT DISC)
“Data Collection” should be marked while resembling multi-instance Data Object
(Group of Documents, Example: Sales Kit)
