Instruction Manual (Input Conversion)

1) The document describes procedures for changing the input type of a DC1010/1020/1030/1040 device from thermocouple to RTD or linear input by moving a jumper. No calibration is required for the input conversion. 2) Wiring distinctions are provided for thermocouple, RTD, and linear inputs. Hardware settings like resistors and jumpers are also described for configuring the linear input type. 3) Steps are outlined for unlocking parameters, showing the ANL1 and ANH1 calibration parameters, and then calibrating the input by inputting minimum and maximum signals and adjusting the ANL1 and ANH1 values accordingly.

4. Calibration Procedure
Check if it shows the ANL1 and ANH1 on CONFIGURATION2. (Go to step 4-3.)
If the parameters are not shown, go to below steps.
4-1. Unlock the protection
Go to ‘LCK’ parameter on CONFIGURATION 1.
(1-1) Press the SET key for 5 seconds. It will show P1 on CONFIGURATION 1.

5seconds

5seconds

Step (1-4)
(1-2) Press the SET key until it will show LCK parameter.
(1-3) Input ‘1111’ to LCK parameter by using up/down and shift key.
(1-4) Press the SET and shift key for 5 seconds at ‘step (1-3)’. It shows ‘SET1’ of Step (2-1).
4-2. Show the parameters
Modify parameter of ‘CONFIGURATION 3’
SET2.4
SET2.3
SET2.2
SET2.1

Step (2-3)
(2-1) Press the SET key just one time until it will shows ‘SET2’.
(2-2) Change the first value of left side to 1. (SET2.2 = 1)
In case of RSP(Input2), SET2.4=1.(It shows ANL2, ANH2.)
(2-3) Press the SET and shift key for 5 seconds and return to OPERATION.
4-3. How to Calibrate
(3-1) Preparation of sources
- DC Current source : DC 0~20mA or 4~20mA
- DC voltage source : DC 0~1V, 0~5V, 0~10V, 1~5V, 2~10V
(3-2) Press the SET and shift key for 5 seconds, it will show ‘INP1’ of Configuration2.
Set INP1 to ‘AN5’ in case of DC 4~20mA.(Refer to INPUT CODE of ‘Linear input H/W setting’)

(3-3) Press the SET key just one time to show ANL1 parameter.
(3-4) Connect input source with INP1 terminals according to wiring diagram.
(3-5) Adjust the calibration values for Lower side(ANL1) and Upper side(ANH1).

In case of RSP(Input2), execute the calibration for each ANL2, ANH2.

(3-6) Refer to procedures as followings.
4-4. Procedure of Calibration
(Range of PV : 0~3000, Input : 4~20mA)
Set ‘INP1 = AN5’ Set INP1(Level 3), 4~20mA : AN5
(Refer to ‘3. Linear Input H/W
‘SET 2.2 = 1’ Setting’)
In case of Linear input model,
(To activate the steps of ANL1 & The default is ‘SET2.2 = 1’
