Classification of Art

I. OBJECTIVES

At the end of the lesson, the students will be able to:


 Identify the different classification of arts.
 Describe its examples with its definition.
 Understand the value of arts in the educational system.

The teacher will present different pictures and allow students to give their own
interpretation.
C. Discussion
The teacher will discuss the different classification of arts, its examples, and its
Value in the Educational system.
D. Activity
The teacher will show different pictures of arts and will ask the students to give
their thoughts and observation.
 Can we consider this picture as one of the classification of arts?
 What do you think are the differences of the three classification of arts?
 Why is it that art is important in our Educational System?
E. Analysis
The students will be given words that has missing letters and form it into its
correct term.
F. Abstraction
The teacher will ask the students what have they learn for today’s discussion.
G. Application
The students identify each words if what classification of arts they belong.

IV. EVALUATION

Direction: Draw if the statement is TRUE and if FALSE draw .

1. Performing arts are those forms in which the artists used his/her own body, face,
and presence as a medium.
2. Visual arts are arts centered on creative writing and other composition processes
which intended to read. These include prose and poetry.
3. Theatre/Drama is a form of art uses performers to present the experience of a real
or imagined event before a live audience in a specific place and time.
4. Sculpture is a form of visual art enhances the way we see the world around and
conditions us to capture its details in a two-dimensional medium.
5. Stagecraft is a form of art that is a technical aspect of theatrical production. This
includes constructing and arranging scenery, hanging and focusing of lighting, the
design of costumes, makeup, and procurement of props, stage management and
recording and mixing of sound.

6. This form of visual art aims to evoke an emotion from the viewers. It is
practice by applying colors or other media to a surface with a brush or other
objects.

emotions and ideas. Based on a study, different types of music may be suitable to
different moods though classical music is still recommended as the most calming
music option.

with a full orchestra composed of the various musical instrument sections. In this
art form, singers and musicians perform a dramatic work by combining text
(called a libretto) and musical score.

V. ASSIGNMENT
