Moment Distribution

1) The maximum hogging moment is 45.4 kN.m at the supports. The maximum sagging moment is 69.15 kN.m at midspan. The maximum shear force is 76.67 kN. 2) Stirrups of 8 mm diameter bars spaced at 30 cm are required for shear reinforcement. 3) Longitudinal reinforcement at the top of the beam requires 3 bars of 16 mm diameter. At the bottom, 3 bars of 14 mm diameter are needed.
