    Hello and Happy New Year,

    I just wanted to take a moment to introduce myself. My name is Jordyn Yanishevsky


    and I will be student teaching with Mrs. Brown’s 3rd grade class for the next 12-13
    weeks. I am a graduate student at Drexel University currently working towards my
    masters in Elementary Education. I also have an undergraduate degree in Human
    Development and Family Studies from Penn State University. I have previously
    student taught Kindergarten at New Hope Solebury Elementary school as well as 2 nd
    grade in Morrisville school district. I also attended New Hope Solebury school
    district grades K-12 and I am excited to be back at my alma mater.

    As a student teacher I will spend time observing the class structure, routine and
    lessons that Mrs. Brown teaches. I will work closely with Mrs. Brown to co-plan and
    teach lessons in the classroom. With the assistance of Mrs. Brown, I will gradually
    take on all responsibilities of the classroom teacher. I look forward to working with
    such a wonderful group of children.

    I have worked with children for a majority of my life and I have always wanted to be
    a teacher. Enriching the minds of young learners is something that is very important
    and rewarding to me. I look forward to working with and getting to know your
    children. I hope to encourage, broaden, and excite their learning experience during
    my time in the classroom.

    I would like to thank each of you for providing me with the opportunity to work
    with your children. I look forward to learning from Mrs. Brown as well as these
