1) A mother and daughter pull into a empty car park, where the mother notices a flat tire. 2) The daughter pleads with her mother to take her to a party, but her mother says she has to ask her father first since it's his weekend. 3) As it gets dark, the daughter becomes worried when she can't see or reach her mother, and ominous noises start coming from outside the car.

EXT.

EMPTY CAR PARK – DUSK

Car pulls up slowly then stops.

INT. CAR

DAUGHTER
Great.
(she groans sarcastically)

MUM
This will be quick, it’s just a flat tyre.
(turns off engine)

DAUGHTER
No, wait!
(she reaches out to stop MUM leaving)
Please, mum, everyone’s going to this party.
(she pleads desperately)

MUM
Look,
(her face softens)
I don’t want you to miss out,
But you’re at your dads this weekend. It’s up to him.

DAUGHTER
He’s going to say no.
(she grumbles)
MUM
That’s out of my control, I’m sorry.
(she shrugs)
Stay in the car.

DAUGHTER glares at the drivers’ side door after MUM


leaves.

EXT. CAR PARK

Long shot of car.

MUM opens boot, getting the tyre repair kit. When boot
slams shut the screen goes black.

INT. CAR – NIGHT

Fade in on DAUGHTER scrolling through her phone.


Texts from friends asking if she can come to the party.

With an annoyed groan, she looks up and realises how dark


it’s gotten.

Looking around the car, she can’t see anything out the
windows.

DAUGHTER
Mum…
(she calls warily)

Loud sound from outside. Dog barks.


Looking around frantically, DAUGHTER starts to panic.

DAUGHTER calls MUM on her phone, but the call is


disconnected.

The low radio noise turns static and the lights flicker.

Low ominous background music starts playing.

Breathing heavy, DAUGHTER moves hesitantly to open the


door.

When the sound of the door clicks open, the screen goes
black and all sound stops.
