Dialogue:

4:05-4:15 Opening Salvo: Drama


(10mins) While the interview is on going, the drama team shall position themselves below
the stage with their props and freezes.
Plot: Market place, chaotic place, beggar, crazy, quarrel, lonely/depressed
Couples and kids can join the drama as passerby and those would buy in the
market
Sequence 2
Baby Crying. (everyone freezes with the facial expression of wonder and
puzzled) 8counts

4:15-4:20 Solo (1 stanza)


(5mins) Chorale/Interpretative (simultaneous)
Song: Hallelujah by Barlow Girls
Plot: Singers will position themselves on the stage while interview of the emcees
is ongoing with backs to the audience.
After the baby crying sound, the soloist will face the audience for the solo part of
the 1st stanza. Then the whole chorale faces the crowd while singing.

4:20-4:30 Jazz Chant


(10 mins) The ending of the song (The promise for those who believe) will be intercepted
by a trumpet call (mp3)
Everyone on stage and below the stage gives way, stands to the sides and bows
Head, dancers stops and move aside-heads bow down.

Messenger (Johnny) walks from the back of the chorale to the center with scroll
in hand. Unfold the scroll and announces in a loud voice (as if reading from the
scroll):
“Hear Ye, Hear Ye! Rejoice you people for Our King has come, the righteous and
victorious one! Rejoice!

1st Speaker (Lenie): Runs towards the


Messenger (with sound effect-distress,mp3)
“Rejoice?? Look at us! (Other part of the crowd (negative) runs and rally behind
the 1st speaker)
In unison, faces the audience (in grief and sadness):
Lenie: How can we rejoice?
In Chorus:
“Distressed. Oppressed. We’re suffering enough that we want to die! (Falls to the
ground, palingkod nga position) We cannot rejoice! No! We refuse to celebrate
the King’s coming! (All bows head)

Speaker for Positive Side (Elen): Runs toward Lenie, holds her hands and helps
her stand up.
“Rejoice! Yes, Rejoice! ( All of negative group look up unto the speaker,
expressions of ridicule)
“Look at us! All (positive) runs to the center, smiling) We have the same
situation.
In Chorus:
“Distressed. Oppressed. We’re suffering to the point of death but we choose to
rejoice. And now we have even more reason to rejoice! We rejoice in King’s
coming & cant keep smiling! He is the promised Savior. He can save us all!
(Pulling each negative to form one group) Come let us celebrate the Lord’s
coming with our hearts rejoicing!

All: (positive and Negative)


“Yes we maybe in distress, oppressed. Many times we’re living but dying. But
this
season reminds us of the reason why our hearts rejoice beyond reason! Yes we
will rejoice, we will keep rejoicing. For our King has come, the righteous and
victorious one! (Raising joint hands in rejoicing)

(Intercept with the Intro music of Praise You with the dance! This is the cue for
the Jazz chanters to part in two(make an aisle) where the dancers enter for their
formation. Jazz Chanters stays at the sides nga dili kaayo visible.

(End of the song, dancers pose/freeze then moves aside to pull the jazz chanters
to the center while mass dance leaders moves afront (1st 20 seconds of the
song)
