o 2 new stateforms added for 5GNR Handset analysis
o Single RAT OTA signaling column in Protocol Stack Browser template
• Platform improvements:
o Message Browser and Protocol Stack Browser message type filtering
support added for Rohde & Schwarz ROMES4 and QualiPoc formats.
o Layout improvements to the Message Browser message panel, for table-
based messages for Qualcomm 5GNR. A new default font is set for new
installations, and highly recommended for existing (upgrading) users.
5G-NR support
• Support added for Rohde & Schwarz ROMES4 and QualiPoc 5GNR UEs (v19.1).
• Support added for New 5GNR UE-based stateforms have been added:
o 5G NR Handset Beam Measurements
o 5G NR Handset Serving Cell Parameters
• Support added for a single technology RAT OTA signaling template in the Protocol
Stack Browser:
• Full information element support from Qualcomm NR 5G MAC DCI Info (0xB885)
message:
• Support added for PCTel iBflex UMTS and LTE scanner data from .SCX log format.
• LTE Band attributes set for PCell and SCell carriers being set as attributes:
o LTE_UE_BAND_DL
o LTE_UE_BAND_DL_for_Carrier[n]
• Support added for the LTE L1 Downlink Info2 message, 0x221b, from Galaxy S9,
supporting up to 256QAM:
• Support added for the LTE PHY Received Signal Quality Information message,
0x2209, from Galaxy S9, supporting MIMO and CA:
• Resolved an issue where a QXDM .ISF file containing LTE messages caused
Analyzer to crash during file loading.
• Added support to break down NR 5G MAC DCI Info (0xB885) message into
individual information elements, controlled by a Preference setting under Format
> Qualcomm > Full Attribute Support:
• Improvements made to the Message Browser event panel and filtering options for
ROMES4 LTE and 5GNR files.
General
• Support added for 3GPP RRC Rel15.6 decode.
• Improvements made to the encoding of the number of supported LTE SCCs within
the UE_Capabilities attribute, which is possible to extract via the following
expression:
o bitwiseand( UE_Capabilities, 1008 )/2^4
Attributes
• Moved the attribute NR_UE_SubcarrierSpacing under the Serving Cell
Parameter tree node.
Format Groups
• Improved ranges for 5GNR Mbps legend, allowing a more sensible distribution of
throughput in the map legend and chart/table histogram views.
Stateforms
• New 5GNR UE-based stateforms have been added:
o 5G NR Handset Beam Measurements
o 5G NR Handset Serving Cell Parameters
Message Browser
• Added event panel events and filter options for LTE and 5GNR for ROMES4 and
QualiPoc formats.
• Improvements have been made to the overall layout of messages in the Message
Browser, to assist with the column alignment and reading of tables of information
elements within the same message.
o Added horizontal scrollbar for messages which span wider than the current
message panel view. Clicking Left / Right cursor keys will also scroll within
the message.
o It is important that users reset the font in the Message Browser to a fixed
width font, such as Courier New, to achieve the best results of the
alignment changes. The default font for new installations is set to Courier
New, but existing users who upgrade without deleting their
