ACKNOWLEDGEMENT

We, the researchers would like to thank the parents of Denver Naguit for

allowing us to stay on their house when we are doing this investigatory project

and we also thank Ms. Angelica De Castro for giving us chance to pass this

project and lastly we are also thanking God because he protects us when we are

doing this project because of him we accomplished this together.

ABSTRACT

We The Researchers are trying to make homemade vacuum cleaner with using recycled

plastic bottles by our own invention it would lessen expenses. And it could saves our

daily budget because the materials that we are using in this product is lessen of using

expensive materials. And we can save our Mother Nature by using this vaccum cleaner,

because we don’t need to use electricity. We the researchers recommend to use “HARD

PLASTIC BOTTLE” so it can handle all the materials.

I. INTRODUCTION

A. Background of the Study

It’s harder to recycle plastic bottles than you think. The mass numbers of

plastic bottles consumed throughout the world, most of them are not recycled

because only certain types of plastic bottles can be recycled by certain

municipalities. They either end up lying stagnant in landfills, leaching dangerous

chemicals into the ground, or they infiltrate our streets as litter. They are found on

sidewalks, in parks, front yards and rivers, and even if you chop them into tiny

pieces they still take more than a human lifetime to decompose. And people were

all using electricity every now and then, especially when they were charging their

gadgets. So conservation of energy can’t applied by people anymore.

The bottom-line of this study is it was a candle holder then if the heat

transferred to the two different metals that were placed on the strips of the bottle,

it will produce electricity. So we’re pointing out that we recycled the mountain

dew bottle, we already have a candle holder and we can use it as a charger on

our cellular phones. The bottle will look like a flower because it was cut into strips

then spread out and there’s a candle inside the bottle. We, the researchers

decided to do this methodology to make it easier and to make the price cheaper

than a usual thermoelectric generator.

B. Statement of the Problem

General Problem

1. Is cola bottles can be a vaccum cleaner?

Specific Problem

1. Is COLA bottle can hold all materials?

C. Significance of the Study

The significance of this Investigatory Project that we are conducting is to

test which of the following metals will conduct more energy and as we find it out,

the usage of electricity will be lessen. And also, we use the mountain dew bottle

to recycled it so that it cannot be a waste that causes floods and etc. and make it

as our investigatory project.

D. Scope and Delimitation of the Study

The coverage of the study is that we can charge through metals only that

is being heated by a candle, we didn’t come up with lighting a bulb because

candle is a kind of light already so we’ve decided to make this study to help our

environment to conserve energy, then we’ve come up to the idea that charging

will do instead of lighting a bulb. This study is focus on charging a cellular phone

from the electricity that will be producing by two different metals. You can’t

charge a high voltage thing in this investigatory project because the electricity

that can be produce was only limited.

The study does not cover the whole thermoelectric generator because it

was too hard for us to make that product and it was too expensive if we’ll be

buying those things to make a generator. We, the researchers limited this

investigatory project to a simple bottle only than a thermoelectric generator. We

limited it by having a mountain dew bottle only, so that it can be recycled, then a

piece of small woods as an layover of the metals, screws, and one candle inside

the bottle.
E. Review of Related Literature

A plastic bottle is a bottle constructed from plastic. Plastic bottles are typically used to store liquids

such as water, soft drinks, motor oil, cooking oil, medicine, shampoo, milk, and ink. The size ranges

from very small sample bottles to large carboys

An electric battery is a device consisting of one or more electrochemical cells with external

connections provided to power electrical devices such as flashlights, smartphones, and electric cars.[1]

A computer fan is any fan inside, or attached to, a computer case used for active cooling, and may

refer to fans that draw cooler air into the case from the outside, expel warm air from inside, or move air

across a heat sink to cool a particular component. Generally these are found in axial and

sometimes centrifugal forms. The former is sometimes called a "muffin" fan, while the latter may be

called a "biscuit blower" in some product literature.

Cloth

a fabric formed by weaving, felting, etc., from wool, hair, silk, flax, cotto

n, or other fiber, used for garments, upholstery, and many otheritems.

II. METHODOLOGY

A. Materials

 Recycled plastic bottle

 Glue

 Cutter

 Cloth

 Batteries

 Wire

 Auger

 Scissors
 Can

 Tape

B. Procedures

1. Cut the bottle in the middle.

2. Then put the elesi in the bottom part of the bottle

3. Put the battery in the middle part of the bottle

4. Then put the wire on the battery

5. Then put the tape in middle of the bottle

IV. CONCLUSIONS AND RECOMMENDATIONS

We, the researchers therefore conclude that the plastic bottles have many more
advantages like doing the homemade vacuum cleaner because most people just ignored
the benefits of plastic bottles and we conclude that we can do all things if we have teamwork

We recommend to reuse plastic bottles that you use to lessen the expenses of
yours and we recommend you to made the homemade vacuum cleaner that made of
plastic bottles because aside from it is easy to made it have many advantages 
