General stylistic characteristics

Dança Negra is a contemporary composition in regular notation. The piece
highlights the virtuosity of the cello as a solo instrument. It requires good bow
handling as it is all the time in spiccato ligero.

Personal reflection
I found this piece very interesting. It could be implemented to study the spiccato
bow stroke. Also, a variation without the bow for developing virtuosic pizzicato
technique.
