Office of The District Magistrate, Barnala: (Regarding Office Order No. MA/119954/179 Dated 26-03-2020)

The District Magistrate of Barnala revised an earlier office order regarding measures to contain the spread of COVID-19. Under the revised order: 1) Treasury and currency chest bank branches will open from 11 AM to 2 PM. 2) All ATMs will remain open from 8 AM to 8 PM. 3) Only one branch of each bank will open in urban and suburban areas with skeleton staff. 4) The lead district manager of SBI Barnala will identify banks handling imports/exports and allow them to operate for three hours from 11 AM to 2 PM. The bank branches will open only for bankers, not the general public.

REVISED OFFICE ORDER
(Regarding Office Order No. MA/119954/179 dated 26-03-2020)
Whereas, the undersigned had issued orders vide order no.MA/119954/168 dated 23-3-2020, as a
part of measures in order to contain the spread of CoronaVirus (COVID-19), and whereas in pursuance of
the letter no.FD/IF/2020/SPL/2-3 dated 24-3-2020 of Department of Finance, Government of Punjab the
following instructions are issued:-
1. All the Treasury/Currency Chests branches of Banks shall be kept open from 11:00 AM to 02:00 PM.
2. All the ATMs of every Bank shall remain open from 08:00 AM to 08:00 PM.
3. Only one branch of every Bank will be opened in Urban and Sub-urban areas with skeleton staff.
4. Lead District Manager,SBI,Barnala will identify the banks handling Import/Export business and will
allow them to operate for three hours i.e. from 11:00 AM to 02:00 PM. He is also authorized to issue
identity cards to the officials and minimum necessary staff of these banks.
5. LDM is also authorized to prepare the list of banks operating in Rural Areas. He will prepare a roaster of
these banks, which will operate on certain days of the week with skeleton staff only.
6. All the Managers of the banks which will be opened during this specified time are directed to ensure all
the social distancing and personal hygiene measures in their branches i.e. maintaining 1 to 1.5 meter
distance, use of sanitizers, masks and gloves by the staff, at the branches as well as ATMs.
The Bank Branches would be opened for the Bankers only, not for the general Public.
