Business Implementation
Learning Objectives:
At the end of this module, the learners are expected to:
a. Complete the initial business requirements;
b. Prepare the physical structure of the business; and
c. Handle the daily transactions of the business;
As the concluding part of this course, the students will finally implement the business concepts
and the business plan they have developed throughout the course. They shall be given the
opportunity to formally establish their own business enterprises and commence the operations of their
businesses. This part shall serve as a checklist of all the activities needed to properly implement and
commence the business enterprise.
2. Letter of the students to the school administrator, properly noted by the subject
teacher, seeking for the approval for introducing the business to other students in
the University
3. Parent’s consent and agreement defining the duration of the project and
responsibilities of the teacher and the school
4. Approval of the business name by the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI).
Note: Application is now done online
5. Permits and licenses obtained from national and local government regulatory
agencies.
6. Approved and properly stamped journals and ledgers by the Bureau of Internal
Revenues (BIR)
Note: The students must prepare all the necessary documentary requirements mentioned in the
checklist.

4. Record the opening entry and other initial transactions of the business
5. Make a reflection of the initial experience of the students on the first set of
activities conducted.
3. Ask for recommendations and suggestions which will lead to the improvement
of the business enterprise

Remember, all big businesses started small. If you decided to pursue your business enterprises, its great!
If not, remember that you have all the time to always go back to the business ideas you have
developed throughout this course and you could always decide to finally pursue in managing it.
