Periodic Table

The periodic table is organized into blocks by elemental properties. The first block contains hydrogen and the alkali metals including lithium, sodium, and potassium. The second block contains the alkaline earth metals like beryllium, magnesium, and calcium. Transition metals such as scandium, titanium, and vanadium are located between these blocks. Noble gases like helium, neon, and argon are in the far right column. Halogens including fluorine, chlorine, and bromine are just left of the noble gases. Lanthanides and actinides are at the bottom.
