Dear Teacher!
The wider reach of electronic media has left a negative impact on our children.
Lack of real time interaction:
Excess use of computer has surely affected our children’s ability to learn and enjoy a real-
time experience with their friends. Undoubtedly, they are dependent on their digital devices the
fact that they choose to spend a lot of time on the internet, and do not pay attention towards any
other activity such as playing sports, going out with friends and family or taking part in any
physical activity as a result, they fall into the abyss of loneliness and depression which can be
problematic for their health.
Analytical skill and reasoning:
One big negative effect of excess use of digital devices are lack of focus on studies, bottling
one’s ability to tackle with analytical problem solving and reasoning. Computers and other
digital devices have handicapped our children, their ability to solve mathematical questions
decreases, they fail to imagine. Their intellectual gives up, all they will do is copy past. Math is
best opted with practice with pen and paper.
