What They Did Not Say

A document discusses a hearing about the Adirondack Travel Corridor that was left incomplete. It argues the hearing and state's proposal were based on flawed data and unsupported conclusions. The railroad in the corridor is no longer needed and the corridor has become more important as a trail.

Adirondack Travel Corridor Hearing left Incomplete.

- In all three referenced studies, the North South snowmobile impact for the entire corridor
was not explored*

-The additional impact from increased highway business was not factored.

- Access to other off corridor areas was not considered and the expense of each.

-Why has the Scenic Railroad not utilized it's permit in May , June and most of October and
November? By how much would the Trail uses be extended without Rails?

-What was the cost of the Long Term Lease buy-back from the Adirondack Railway Corp.
Olympic Railroad, after its failure?

- " Outside the Box" for handicapped access? The Trail will be a 10'+ wide surface easily able
to handle a Tram or Trolley! Is it the train for the train's sake? Remember, all the video you
see of the corridor is 360, not like the side window of a train.

The Public hearings and States Proposal are based on flawed data and
unsupported conclusions. The Railroad here ended because it was no
longer needed. The Corridor has become more important as a trail .
