Significance of study

The study must be conducted to find out the difference of two broad categories of

accounting career and its impact on the career path preference of accounting students

on the school, Republic Central Colleges. The result of this study is beneficial to the

students, teachers, parents, and school administrators because this can give data as

bases for suggestions on why students should choose that category of accounting.

Future accounting students. The students who would like to become an

accountant in the future will become aware of the pros and cons of the two broad

category of accounting and whether it will be beneficial for them.

Teachers. The teachers can guide the students on choosing the right path for

them so that they can create an appropriate teaching strategy to produce effective

accounting graduates.

Parents. The parents will become aware of the profession of their son/daughter

so that they can make necessary action to guide them in pursuing their career.

School administrators. This study will provide information to the school

administrators on the career path preference of students in accounting. The school

administrators will improve the knowledge of teachers through seminars so they can

deal with students on what will be the best choice for them.
Significance of the Study

The researchers believe that this study will significantly

contribute to the following:

Administrators. The findings of the study will give the

administrators knowledge and realization on the quality of their

curriculum, administrative support, and school facilities and

learning resources as evaluated by the student which can be a legit

basis for further improvement.

Teaching and academic-related personnel. The study will give

them insights on how quality and sound they perform their

respective responsibilities in terms of teaching methods and

techniques and other academic-related experience. Teaching

strategies may be revisited and the curriculum may be enhanced to

address the needs of the students particularly those that concern

their success in the CPALE.

Parents. The results of the study will serve as a guide for

them to affirm if the services provided by the college help develop

and attain sufficient knowledge to pass public examinations and

certifications of their children.

RCC students. This study can be very helpful in giving the

students aware of the curriculum provided by the Commission on

Higher Education which is then enhanced by the dean and the school

facilities and learning resources so that optimal usage of the

latter will be fully utilized. Students may also be given intensive


reviews or refresher courses to increase the likelihood of passing

the board exam.

Future researchers. The results of this study can be a source

in producing other studies related to this or serve as the basis in

coming up with other studies to support or negate the present

findings.
Significance of the Study

This study on experiences of accountants serves as an eye opener to people who would

like to become accountants in the future.

More specifically, the findings of this investigation could be beneficial to the following:

Professionals. The result of the study will give them deeper understanding of the

profession that they currently working.

Teachers. The teachers will understand the dilemma of the students in accounting so that

they can make appropriate teaching strategies to produce effective accounting graduates.

Future accounting students. The students who would like to become accountants in the

future will become aware of the different challenges and benefits of the profession.

Parents. The parents will become aware of the challenges of the profession aimed for by

their son/daughter so that they can make necessary action to guide them and become successful

in the future.
