LR2000 THERMAL PRINTER JPOS DRIVER INSTALLATION

Software Installation

1. Double click on the file name "LR2JposInstall.exe" to start the installation. Then click "Install" to
continue.

2. Change the install destination location if necessary or just accept default location. Click "Next" to continue.

3. After the install is finished, please click "Finish" to restart the computer now in order for JPOS
driver to take effect.

Driver Setup

To use JPOS driver with your application software, you will need to place JPOS setup file in the same
directory where you application software is. Please follow below steps to do so.

1. Go to the path where you install the JPOS driver, and copy file "LR2Jpos.bat" to your application
software folder.

2. Start the JPOS driver setup program by double clicking "LR2Jpos.bat" from your application
software folder.

3. Click on the line to highlight a printer(if you only have one printer, it is always highlight) and then
click on "Properties" button to start changing the properties.

4. Input the name in "Device name" you want to use in your POS application where the application
will connect to the printer using this name.

5. Select the "Port Type" used for connecting the printer to the computer. For serial interface, setup
Port Name and Baud Rate. For Ethernet interface, setup IP address of printer and set Port
Number to 9100.

6. If cash drawer is connected to the printer, check the "Enable" checkbox. Then enter a device
name for the cash drawer. Setup the pulse width for driving the drawer.

7. If necessary, setup the cash drawer "Status Pin Level for Drawer Opened" option to reflect
correct drawer status matching to the printer status pin level read from the drawer.

8. Click "OK" to finish the properties setting.

9. Click on "Test Drawer" and "Test Printer" to verify that the printer and drawer are operating
correctly. Then click "Exit" to finish.
