Group-7

1. In Africa, 11 million children could be left without water. 1.5

million children under the age of five die each year from diarrhea due to
inadequate sanitation, poor hygiene, or unsafe drinking water. It will be necessary
to increase water consumption for irrigation purposes, in 2050 it will increase by
11%. There are sufficient water resources in the world, but they are unevenly
distributed and limited water resources are dangerous in a number of countries or
regions within countries, especially in the Middle East, North Africa and South
Asia. Reducing water consumption and at the same time increasing food
production will be key issues in the discussion of water scarcity. The problem of
water scarcity may become more acute due to changes in the amount of
precipitation due to climate change.
2. Every country should calculate the children number in the country, and
calculate out how much food that they need per day. After that, the government
should tailored the trade of the food and create a suitable investment in food for
their country. Especially in the Africa country, there are a lot of kid having
kwashiorkor because of malnutrition. The government should invest more on the
food supply and ensure that all of the kid have enough food or nutrition.
3. For the future, vertical farming will become a trend in urban farming since that
it is more efficient compare with the traditional agriculture because it takes up less
space, reduce waste and increase yield. In the future there might be not much
space for the farmer to grow the crop to supply to the market, that why people can
encourage themselves to grow some crop to feed themselves. The benefit of this is
that the crop can be much more organic, and people can do some business, for
example selling their organic crops to people, invite people to visit their farm get
some innovative idea and get some good idea. This urban farming can be done in
every country there is no any restriction, as long as there is a land there can be an
urban farming area, with this innovative idea it is essential to the humanity.
4. Health - being the main driver in the children's food and beverage industry - is
bolstered by innovations in four key areas. These are:
Fortification: With vitamins and functional ingredients
Taste: Which is "evolving and maturing", and must be balanced with nutrition
Packaging: Including portion size, convenience and shape
Trust: Sought through organic, allergen free and additive free products.
The domestic food markets will faced a big problem since there is a shortage of
food in 2050 according to the increasing population. As the domestic food
markets, mainly target on children and teen, most of the company will
more favor for packaging and quantity. Lack of quantity and quality the market
should have, diet system of the children will effected as well. As for the diet
system, obesity and many more health issues can increased as well. In order to
prevent that issue, domestic food market should introduce substitute and different
styles of food market system.
