    To Whom It May Concern:

    This is to advise you that staff of the United States Federal Trade Commission, the
    national consumer protection agency, has reviewed your website at
    https://www.spooky2scalar.com/ in April 2020. We also reviewed your social media website at
    https://www.facebook.com/spooky2scalar/, where you promote the sale of your Spooky2
    Scalar product. We have determined that you are unlawfully advertising that certain products
    treat or prevent Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19).

    Some examples of Coronavirus prevention or cure claims on your websites include:

    • On your social media website at https://www.facebook.com/spooky2scalar/:


    o In a post on February 29, you state: “Discover how Spooky2 Scalar can
    protect you and your family from this terrible virus.” The post links to a page
    on your website at https://www.spooky2scalar.com/how-to-protect-yourself-
    from-coronavirus-2019covid-19-using-spooky2-scalar/, titled “How to Protect
    Yourself From Coronavirus 2019 (COVID-19) Using Spooky2 Scalar,” where
    you state: “The COVID-19 is a new coronavirus that has not been previously
    identified…Now, the 2019-nCoV is rampaging through many countries,
    leaving a path of illness and death…For scalar users, you can reduce the risk
    of getting or spreading infection by reducing outdoor activities, keeping

    hygienic and seeking medical advice in time. You can also protect yourself
    and your family members from COVID-19 by applying the COVID-19
    frequencies to scalar field with Spooky2 Scalar…Do you want to protect
    yourself from Coronavirus 2019 (COVID-19) using Spooky2 Scalar? If yes,
    come and get Spooky2 Scalar from here [with link to page to purchase the
    product].”
    o In a post on March 7, you state, “How can scalar energy boost your immune
    system to help with fighting COVID-19?” The post links to a page on your
    website at https://www.spooky2scalar.com/scalar-energy-for-coronavirus-
    2019covid-19/, titled, “Scalar Energy for Coronavirus,” where you state:
    “How can scalar energy boost your immune system?...Scalar energy provides
    optimal energetic support for the immune system and boosts its capacity to
    protect and safeguard the body. Once the immune system is addressed
    properly, half of the healing work is done. It is easier for your body to manage
    other aspects of healing, health recovery is faster and the body does not fall
    prey easily to the virus…Spooky2 Scalar is the best scalar device…In
    addition, you can also protect yourself and your family members from
    Coronavirus 2019 by applying the COVID-19 frequencies to scalar field with
    Spooky2 Scalar.”
    o In a post on March 15, you state: “This is not the time to give up! This is not a
    time for excuses! This is a time for pulling out all the stops! During the
    coronavirus pandemic, it is comforting to know Spooky2 is here to help.
    Protect yourself and your loved ones, with Spooky2. We have compiled some
    resources here. We hope that you and your family can get help from these.”
    The post links to two of the articles discussed above, titled “How to Protect
    Yourself From COVID-19 Using Spooky2 Scalar: [with link to
    https://www.spooky2scalar.com/how-to-protect-yourself-from-coronavirus-
    2019covid-19-using-spooky2-scalar/]” and “Scalar Energy for Coronavirus
    2019 (COVID-19) [with link to https://www.spooky2scalar.com/scalar-
    energy-for-coronavirus-2019covid-19/].”
    o In a post on March 24, you state: “The COVID-19 is rampaging through
    many countries, leaving a path of illness and death. Come and listen to this
    FREE frequency healing sound for Coronavirus Disease 2019 to protect
    yourself and your family.” The post links to a page on your website at
    https://www.spooky2scalar.com/healing-frequencies-for-covid-19/, titled,
    “Healing Frequencies for COVID-19,” where you provide an audio file for
    consumers to listen to, and state: “This audio file targets the frequencies of
    COVID-19.”

    It is unlawful under the FTC Act, 15 U.S.C. § 41 et seq., to advertise that a product
    can prevent, treat, or cure human disease unless you possess competent and reliable
    scientific evidence, including, when appropriate, well-controlled human clinical studies,
    substantiating that the claims are true at the time they are made. For COVID-19, no such

    study is currently known to exist for the product identified above. Thus, any coronavirus-
    related prevention or treatment claims regarding such product are not supported by
    competent and reliable scientific evidence. You must immediately cease making all such
    claims for products that you advertise and market, sell, or otherwise promote or make
    available in the United States.

    You are also advised to review all other claims for such products and immediately
    cease making claims that are not supported by competent and reliable scientific evidence.

    Within 48 hours, please send a message to [email protected] describing


    the specific actions you have taken to address the FTC’s concerns.
