WRITING CAUSE AND EFFECT ESSAY
A. Read through the following passage, underlining causes and highlighting
effects.
I woke up late this morning because my alarm clock did not ring. As a
result, I had to rush to get ready for school and I made a huge mess all over
the house. I missed the bus because I had to go back home to fetch my
cellphone. Consequently, I was late for school, and my lecturer was not
pleased with me at all. Due to the fact that my day had been going so badly,
I was in a bad mood and I shouted at my friends. Since I was in such a bad
mood, they didn’t want to hang out with me and they left. After they left, my
day only got worse. In view of all that happened today, I’ve decided that I
need two alarm clocks instead of one, to make sure I wake up on time in the
mornings.
Now, tabulate your causes and the related effects using a table similar to the
one below:

1 CAUSE : terrorist attack; bomb explosion
EFFECT : people killed; families grieving; multiple funerals
2 CAUSE : global warming
EFFECT : heat waves in summer; people fainting; overcrowding in hospitals
Answer
1. a. Terrorist attack was just happened in Twin Towers. Therefore, lot of
people killed.
b. Since the bomb explosion in Bali, there are so many families grieving.
c. Bomb explosion by terrorist caused not only people killed and families
grieving but also multiple funerals.
2. a. Heat waves in summer as a result of global warming.
b. Heat waves in summer, people fainting, and overcrowding in hospitals
because of global warming.
c. Overcrowding in hospitals happen after the global warming.

E-Commerce For Consument

Nowadayays, E-Commerce is one of the solution for people to buy what
they needs. Actually, what is E-Commerce? E-Commerce is distribution,
purchase, sale, marketing of goods and service through electronic systems
such as internet, television, or other computer networks. There’s many
rcauses why people use E-Commerce. Such as buying anytime anywhere,
saving time, and more accurate price. So I will explain more about the
causes.
Let me start with buying anytime anywhere. In E-commerce there is no
time limit to buy because it’s online, it’s 24 hour open, different with offline
store that have their store open and close time. In E-Commerce you can buy
from different place, what I mean is you not buy from your house, you can
do it anywhere. Not like an offline store that we need to come for buy.
Saving time is cause why people more like to use E-Commerce. I can
say that because I already doing this. You need to come to the store if you
want to buy things, it’s waste your time at least you need it right now. But, in
E-Commerce i just need to surf the things that I want buy in internet, just
choose the things that I want to buy and the online will proceed it. That’s the
way to spare your time to doing other things
Other cause is because we can compare the price. There are so much
store in E-Commerce, the stores can sell the same thing just like the others
store. So we can compare the prices from the other store, both offline and
online. If we buy the things at the offline store, we can compare it to others
store near of it but is still need your energy and hardwork, you need to walk
to the other store one by one.
I hope that you more like to use the E-Commerce than go to offline
store. this is the solution for you, who don’t want to make something
difficult. The main idea of this essay is E-Commerce is making your life get
more easier, we can buy anytime anywhere, saving our time to doing other
things, and we can get the best price too.
