ACTIVITY 3.1
As a student, what are the things that you can do to help the government lessen the burden that we
they are carrying because of this pandemic? Write and explain your answer in an essay from.
- The coronavirus COVID-19 pandemic is the defining global health crisis of our time and the
greatest challenge we have faced. Every day, people are losing jobs and income, with no way of
knowing when normality will return. Looking back into the first day of being in quarantine that
cause by the pandemic that we are facing, we are that so sad to be in lockdown scenario. We
feel like were abandoned and faced an event of life which make us more suffocated like we are
in a box that air was not and must not be in there. Recently governments are so much worried
about the pandemic that we are facing right now, they show their sincerity towards their
people, us. They spend the government money as well as their own just to lend some relief
goods like good cans, noodles, rice and everything that they can share. President Rodrigo
Duterte is such a good president to us. He shows his kindness despites of those people who hate
him and bashed. He is truly great leader. I was called a little one, but as a student, I am so much
proud to say that I can do something top lessen the burdens of our government towards the
Covid19 Pandemic. I may not rich and not that strong but at least I could pray for them. I am
praying for their health and to be not infected by the virus which is the Covid19 Pandemic that
we are facing right now. If they would be infected where can we lend our hands? Who will be
the instrument of God that will help us through the pandemic? As well as I can show my care,
love and respect towards them. I really salute their hardworking just to save our country. I pray
for them just to show the care and love. And as to show respects, I do always follow the
protocols that they create and formed. This is one of the best things that we should show
towards them, each and everyone of us should respect the protocols because it is our sake not
only for them. Wearing facemask as well as face shield, social distancing and rare mass
gathering are the protocols that we should maintain. If it is not necessary to gathered then, we
should not gather. We should always show our respect. We are Filipinos and our country named
“Respectful Country”. I may not be strong enough to do anything but showing the three
important thing is the best to lessen the burden of our loving governments. Let’s salute their
hard work and patients toward us.
WHAT I CAN DO

1. Public spirit
- Every action should be public spirited. He should not seek his self interest and should always be
ready to contribute his mite to the welfare society.
2. Obedience
- All the citizen should willingly and habitually obey the laws of the state. A democratic
government is a government is a government of the people themselves. Laws reflect their own
will. There should not be, therefore any hesitation in the obedience of laws.
ASSEMENT
1. How can you show your public spirit in our country?
- Well, to begin with i would say that the motivation comes from within, if you have the true spirit
to serve your country come what may be the consequences you are going to do it , that what
the way which our freedom fighters opted to serve our motherland but then now times are
changing and in a totally globalised world you are left with very few options. the ways i feel you
can serve the nation is -by taking few steps which motivate you to do good for others, like be
honest with yourself while helping others. -respect your elders and the senior citizens of your
country ,like for example -while travelling you meet different people and some really need help
in getting things done for then due to different their advancing age and health problems, so just
help them -the second thing which you can do is respect your national property weather it be
our national flag ,song ,emblem ,anthem, bird, or any of the things. Some people do not know
the importance of all these national properties so try to tell them in a good manner what is the
real value of all these. -the third point to be kept in mind is be a good informer about the doubts
of people regarding national interest -tell everyone you meet that you should be proud of your
country and its varied heritage -keep praising your country in whatever ways you can and as
they say become a its true spirit. -last but not the least participate in all the programs near your
locality or elsewhere conducted in national interest, or public awareness to general public hope
these points may help you in becoming a responsible citizen. wish you good luck for your
commited ways to your country's service. Today we need good governing body, to which we
should amend the constitution. We should not allow a person to rule for the second time, can
we together make this change, gradually then bribery will die, and that will be the beginning of
our nations growth. I you can really bring changes in that circle, without that whatever the
efforts that is put in, is an attempt to put salt in the sea. Otherwise be committed to your family,
support your neighbours when they are in trouble, keep the surroundings clean, take care of the
public property that we come across, likewise the small, small things, if we follow in routine,
everyday, nothing more we need to do, and do not take bribe, and feel and be a proud citizen.
2. In that ways do we contribute to taxes?
- When we buy something, we also contributing to the taxes.
