With the help of the code provided for Exp-1, please generate a Eb/No Vs  plot and then
discuss, what does power-limited and bandwidth-limited region mean? Consider a noise-
only limited wireless communication channel. Assume receiver noise is flat over the
channel bandwidth B.
As being system designer; you are given with the following scenarios for an arbitrary
data rate R.
Scenario 1: R=0.2B,
Scenario 2: R=B,
Scenario 3: R=2B.

Identify which region in the plot you would rather consider for operating the system and
mention your considerations for designing the system for all these scenarios.

NB. Answer script must contain the generated graph.

Member-2
With the help of the code provided for Exp-2 please generate a graph showing Bit error
probability for 4 X 4 QAM and 16-point orthogonal signal sets.
Explain with proper reasoning that which one is the best modulation scheme between
them.
NB. Answer script must contain the generated graph.

Member-3
Design a Fiber Optic Communication System using “optisystem” software and take the
reading for the given channel length and comment on the change of Eye-Diagram you
observe for three different channel length.

Fiber Length in Km Received power in dBm Max Q Factor Min BER Eye Hight

120

NB. Answer script must contain the simulation layout (screen shot will work), Eye-
diagram for three different length.
Member-4
With the help of the code provided for Exp-2 please generate a graph showing Bit error
probability for 64-PAM and 8 X 8 QAM.
Explain with proper reasoning that which one is the best modulation scheme between
them.
NB. Answer script must contain the generated graph.
