What is Personality Enhancement Program

1.
Students undertake a program that enhances their communication skills and their lifestyle

Why is personality development important for teachers?

Teachers are the pioneers in shaping the lives of the children. Being children, we have
learned a lot from our teachers which we still find useful in our day-to-day lives. When it
comes down to teacher’s personality, not everyone has an attractive and disciplined
personality.
So, it’s high time that teachers need to understand the importance of personality
development to shape the future of their students.
Let’s move ahead, go through each point and understand why personality development
is essential for every teacher.
Confidence
A confident look on the face can make a teacher feel worthy to students. If you ever
walk in the class with a sad face, students will get demotivated, and the entire lecture
will go in vain. A teacher must carry a confident look even at the time of facing
difficulties in your life to motivate your students. While shaking hands, don’t forget to
smile in every possible case.
Dressing Matters A Lot
One of the essential aspects of personality development is clothing. Being a teacher,
you must always dress well for generating a spark of likeness. Make sure to wear well-
fitted clothes and your students will like you along with colleagues.
Body Language
Every teacher’s work depends on 50% vocal and 50% body language. If you can
combine good body language along with speaking, it can work wonders for you. The
way you walk, sit and talk and all includes in the body language Everything matters and
being a teacher, you must undoubtedly master body language at it's best.
Makes a teacher feel good
A teacher with a strong personality will always beat the one having a weak character.
For every teacher, personality development generates a sense of happiness in
their mind. This makes a teacher look good, feel confident and teach students with
gratitude and patience.
Power of Speaking
By regularly practicing personality development skills, you can become a better
speaker. Personality development includes learning vocabulary, and also widening the
scope of knowledge and so making students understand in a better way.
Lastly, above the importance of personality development for teachers, what’s most
essential is to have a positive mind. You don’t need to worry too much, just go with the
flow and develop your personality.
______________________________________________________________________
Personality development can be defined as the development of behaviors in an
organized pattern and also human attitudes which makes an individual distinctive from
others. Personality development happens because of the ongoing interaction which
takes place between individuals taking into account their temperament, character, as
well as their surrounding environment.
Teachers, professors, lecturers and all who are in the teaching profession are
considered pioneers towards shaping the lives of all students who interact with them for
getting knowledge. They play an important role in building good character in students.
We have to agree to the fact that when we were children, we all learned several things
from our teachers and each and every set of knowledge we gathered proved to be
useful even today. But when the discussion is on the teacher’s personality, we will again
agree that everyone is not that attractive or a disciplined personality in life.
The personality development of teachers needs to be given due importance as they are
going to be the one who will be responsible for the development of the personality of the
students whom they will teach. They need to interact with the parents of the students to
give an update on how they are doing in class and what improvements are needed. So
having a good personality is a must for the students. There is no importance of looks of
a teacher to decide if he/she is having a good personality or not. The few points which
will decide the personality of a teacher include:
•    Excellent communication skills.
•    Being trustworthy towards students and parents, and share a correct update about
their performance and progress in class.
•    Should have good morals to make an impactful influence on the students and their
development in education and as human beings.
•    Need to have a motivational personality to encourage and motivate students in doing
better in life as a whole.
In short, teachers must have a good personality to shape the future of the nation.

"A teacher takes a hand, opens a mind, and touches the heart"

Teachers are our first role models, they teach us. they help us, and the most important
they "INSPIRE" us.
Students are the creators of tomorrow and they represent the nation. So, it is very
crucial to be a great inspiration, and to be a great inspiration one needs a great
personality. Personality never becomes perfect neither develops in a day you have to
keep working on a daily basis and so that's why teachers have to keep developing their
personality.
"To be a great INSPIRATION a teacher needs a
great PERSONALITY."
Hope this helps.
Thank You

Teaching offers the chance to change other people's lives

permanently for the better.

As a teacher you can help to develop somebody's subject

knowledge and maybe even their mind and personality.

Teaching is an incredibly rewarding thing to do and good teachers

are needed everywhere: in schools and college classrooms to
educate the young, as well as in the workplace and other settings
to teach adults and colleagues.

One-on-one teachers may tutor someone in a particular subject or for

their wider personal development.

However, teaching anyone can also be tiring, stressful and demanding.

It is a responsibility and any slip up is very visible. People's minds and
motivation vary a great deal and teachers have to find many different
ways to connect with their students.

Teaching is not always recognised for being the difficult task that it is in
terms of status or financial reward.

Skills Needed for Teaching

As well as subject knowledge, there are some other, more
general qualities that teachers need.
As a teacher, you should:

1. Enjoy communicating your understanding to others.

There is definitely a performance element to most teaching. Our section
on interpersonal skills, including effective speaking, covers this in more detail, and
there is a great deal of overlap with presentation skills.

2. Have confidence.
You will need the confidence to look calm and professional even when tired and
stressed. See our page: Building Confidence for more information.

3. Have great organisational skills.

Have you prepared for the session and done any marking in time?

Have you kept what is needed for anyone in the group who was away?

If you are part of a teaching organisation, have you fed back results to any interested
colleagues?

You may find our page: Organising Skills useful.

4. Work effectively in groups.

In a school or college, you may be part of a group that teach at your level or within your
subject. If so, you will have to agree between you what is to be taught and how to deal
with any difficulties.

See our page: Groups and Teams for an introduction to effective team working skills.

5. Be able to deal with conflict.

There may be students who need to be told to work harder, or a disagreement between
students that you need to help to sort out.

Our page on Conflict Resolution provides some advice on how to do this.

6. Motivate your students to do their best.

This may require encouragement and/ or criticism, and probably a bit of both at different
times.

Our page on Motivation Skills provides more information.

7. Empathise with your Students.

If you can see that your students are exhausted, there may be no point in trying to teach
a very complicated topic. You need to create a feeling that you are all working together
towards the same goal. This means building up trust and rapport.

See our pages on Empathy and Building Rapport for more.

8. Give feedback.
Whether this takes the form of comments on performance or marking written work, it
needs to be constructive. Offer praise as well as criticism whenever possible and tell
your students how they can improve.

Personality Development Tips : 10 Most

Important Improvement Tips

So, now the question is how to develop personality? What helps in the development
of personality? In simple terms, Personality development is an initiative to improve
certain traits and qualities which contribute to your overall personality. No matter
what your age is, there is always a space for improvement. Having a good personality
can help in your better professional and social life. Let’s go to certain important
personality developments which will help you to understand how to have a better
personality.

  Personality does not mean that you should have looks

Personality represents the people how you are. It is not just the looks that are
important and that defines who you are. The personality of an individual is
determined by his/her appearance, behavior, attitude, education, values, and some
more varying characteristics. Personality defines who you are and how you respond
to various situations. It is essential to focus on the personality, which matters the
most.

 Dress up well:

Focus on how you should dress up for the office, party, or any other occasion.  Wear
according to the occasions. Good looks no doubt will add to your personality but
what matters the most is how you are dressed up. It plays a major role in personality
development.

 Each person is unique:

Remember that each individual is different and has his/ her unique characteristics
and qualities. Comparing yourself to others around only increases the distress,
especially when you start focusing on where you are lacking compared to others. It is
important that you channelize your energy towards your positive traits. So never
imitate anyone. Be the one which you are in actual and never pretend.

 Learn social skills:

Only good-looking will never be sufficient to take you forward in life or help you in
your relationships with people. Instead, hone your social skills. The more success one
has in social spheres of life, the better you would feel about yourself. Try to make
use of positive gestures while interacting with others and watch out for your body
language too.

  Do not avoid social interactions:

Just because you feel you aren’t good-looking, do not avoid meeting people. Look for
opportunities, go to different events, participate in social gatherings, and be
proactive. The more you eschew social interaction, the worse you would feel about
yourself. I would suggest you be gregarious. This is also one of the promising
personality development tips.
 Know your positives:

If every individual has his or her limitations, then he or she also has positives. These
positives are what you need to concentrate on. Know your strengths. Acknowledge
them and work with them. It would definitely help you to overcome your challenges
and take you into the long run.

 Get Out Of Your Comfort Zone

Be prepared to challenge yourself by learning new skills. For most people it’s a huge
learning curve to start an online business, so you must have a very positive, open-
minded attitude and embrace any changes you need to make.

  Don’t Fear Failure

Don’t worry about making mistakes, you will make loads in your journey and a lot of
them may hold you back for a while, but once you’ve made them, these methods can
be eliminated and you can move on.

 Make Yourself Known

Brand yourself in all your communications. Whatever content you put out there is a
slice of your personality, so make sure it shows you in a positive light. It’s you’re
trying to sell to other people, so the more personal the message the better.

  Come Across As A Leader

Whatever you learn and however little you know, use it well. Become an authority
on whatever topic you tackle, then you have the knowledge to pass it on to others
and if you put your message across in the right way, you will attract followers.
Express yourself and always do, what you say.

  Effort And Consistency

This is linked to your daily plan but is crucial. Marketing your business every day with
relevant and sustained effort is much better than huge bursts of activity once a
month. Effort and regularity will win the day every time.

  Don’t Give Up

I know this sounds like an obvious one to end on, but there are loads of people who
literally could have made it through with only a few more weeks or months of effort.
They had done everything right apart from seeing it through to success and it was
just that final bit of belief that prevented them.

 Be funny & don’t be serious always

No one likes boring and serious people. Everyone enjoys the company of someone
who makes them laugh. Do not beat around the bush just to make others laugh. Try
to add fun while having the conversation, others will naturally be attracted to you.

Some more good personality development tips at a glance:

 Keep a smart head and keep cool.

 Don’t Copy anyone.
 Create your own personal style
 Don’t doubt yourself
 Be An Active Listener
 Learn to have patience and focus on your communication skills. Be polite and
gentle with your words.
 Be executive in dress
 Don’t shout or be aggressive.
 Be more passionate about your work and be optimistic.
 Accept And Recognize Your Weak Points
 Learn to appreciate others. It helps the same qualities to be grown in us too.
