Permanent Magnet Moving Col Instrument

A permanent magnet moving coil instrument is given with specifications. It requires 136 turns of wire to produce a 90 degree deflection with a 5mA current. The flux density in the air gap is calculated to be 0.12 Wb/m2. For a moving coil voltmeter with a resistance of 20Ω, the flux density is found to be 0.12 Wb/m2 and the diameter of the copper wire is calculated to be 0.2mm.

A Permanent Magnet Moving Coil Instrument has a

coil of dimensions 15 mm× 12 mm. The flux density
in the air gap is 1.8 × 10−3 𝑊𝑏/𝑚2 and the spring
constant is 0.14 × 10−6 𝑁𝑚/rad . Determine the
number of turns required to produce an angular
deflection of 90 degree when a current of 5 mA
