B2C Commerce Sandbox Policy FAQ

Q: I am interested in working on B2C Commerce, can I receive access to a demo


sandbox?
A: Sandboxes will not be provisioned to prospective partners who are not enrolled in
either the Salesforce Consulting Partner Program or LINK Technology Partner Program.

Note: Any aspiring partner wanting to become a B2C Commerce delivery partner
must meet B2C Commerce requirements as outlined here. To become a successful B2C
Commerce partner it is strongly recommended you have the minimum qualifications in
place. Prospective partners will need to undergo an internal vetting and approval
process.

Q: How many free sandboxes entitlements are allocated by tier?


A: For the current FY20 program year, partners will be entitled to B2C Commerce
sandboxes based on partner tier in the Salesforce Consulting Partner Program
• The partner tier entitlement can be found on the partner benefits page at the
following link: p.force.com/sibenefits
• Any sandboxes above the defined partners tier entitlement will be charged at
$150 / month / sandbox

Q: We have several entities across the globe, will sandbox entitlements be distributed
regionally or globally?
A: Sandboxes that are allocated as a free entitlement based on program tier, will be
distributed at a global level even if partners operate in multiple regions or if individual
SPPA's are signed by region.

Q: Since program tiers are reevaluated throughout the year, when are sandbox
entitlements evaluated?
A: Sandbox entitlements are allocated based on the partner program tier issued on
March 1st, the beginning of the program year. If partner tiers advances in the program
year, you will be entitled to additional free sandboxes.

Q: Partner entitlements are based on tier, what if I am a Commerce Cloud LINK


technology partner?
A: Technology partners will keep the same partner sandbox entitlement structure that is
outlined in the Commerce Cloud Technology Partner Program and Agreement.

Q: How do I request a sandbox?


A: To request a sandbox, send a request to [email protected].
In the near future this will transition to the Salesforce Partner Community support
workflows.
Q: What is the price for one sandbox? Does currency matter?
A: The price of sandboxes are $150 USD / month / sandbox and are billed on a monthly
basis. All sandbox request will be billed in USD. Sandbox rates are not prorated and are
auto-renewed on a monthly basis.
