Instruct is hosting a 2-day workshop on the subject of liquid retaining structures on the
26th and 27th of July at the Rialto Hotel on Seshadri Road, Bengaluru. The workshop will
feature lectures from various experts in the field of design, construction and
waterproofing of liquid retention structures. State-of-the-art reviews, analysis and
design discussions will be conducted on the construction of water towers as well as for
near ground structures. During the workshop IS Code 3370 in addition to the other
codes pertaining to material choice will be visited for the benefit of the audience.
Durability aspects as well as crack repairs for the structures will also be touched upon
during the event.
