Site Visit procedure

1. Upon arrival coordinate to person in charge about site checking for STAT-X
fire suppression system design requirements(total flood or local
application).
2. Checks the site status room or equipment is ready for visual inspection, if
yes proceed to number 3 procedures.
3. Check the following requirements for design.
- Type of room to be protected.
- Dimension of room or equipment.
Note:
1. Length, Width and Height, also check if there’s a raised floor or
ceiling void to protect.
2. Check also the possible leakage of chemical (louver or exhaust fan
windows), measure the possible leakage.

4. Proposed possible location of the following components
o Control Panel – Wall must be concrete and check also the
concrete wall if there’s a pipe embedded installed, And Clear for
any obstruction for maintenance purposes, and visible for daily
maintenance checking.
Note:
1. Source of power supply for control panel not exceed 3 meters.
2. For Interfacing to FDAS, aircon shut down and damper switch
shut off we will provide only a contact not the installation and
termination.
o Manual release station – Wall must be concrete, and clear for any
obstruction, visible in case of fire, proposed location outside
room.
o Abort Station – Wall must be concrete, and clear for any
obstruction, visible in case of fire for checking if true fire.
Proposed location outside room.
o Alarm Bell – proposed location outside or inside room.
o Horn/Strobe - proposed location outside or inside room.
o STAT-X Aerosol – Install stat-x aerosol 15-30 degree Celsius aim to
the flooring not to protected equipment.
- Piping Installation concerns to be discuss to the client
o Exposed piping if fixed ceiling.
5. Safety protocols.
- PPE’s requirements
- Workers documents needed NBI Clearance, Police Clearance etc….if
necessary.
- Electrical equipment shut down if needed, safety assistance will be
provided by the client.
6. Work Permit including tools gate pass form
- Working Hours (must be minimum of 8 working hours)
- Site availability for installation MORNING OR EVENING
- Who/when will provide permit.

ALWAYS TAKE PHOTOS DURING SITE VISIT, PRE INSTALLATION VISIT,


INSTALLATION, AFTER INSTALLATION AND TURN OVER.
Pre installation visit

1. Upon arrival coordinate to person in charge that we will conduct pre


installation visit for finalize all concerns.
2. Provide Stat-x plan layout for final inspection.
3. Check the site status if ready for schedule of installation.
4. Check the proposed location of all components.
a. Stat-X Aerosol– Free from any obstruction during discharge no
equipment must be installed at the discharge port of canister.
Note:
Do not aim the canister discharge port to the protected
equipment.
b. Control Panel – Free from any obstruction, if there’s a changes
proposed to the client.
Note:
proposed location not too far to the protected room.
c. Manual Release Station – Free from any obstruction and no
switches or other controls install at propose location, if there’s a
changes proposed to the client.
Note:
We are possible to install beside switches or control but check
first the piping home run.
d. Abort Station - Free from any obstruction and no switches or
other controls install at propose location, if there’s a changes
proposed to the client.
e. Bell and Horn/Strobe - Free from any obstruction, if there’s a
changes proposed to the client.

5. Discuss for work permit, gate pass and pull out form get a copy if
possible.
