EIE306 Process Dynamics and Control Course Plan

This document contains a course plan for the subject "Process Dynamics and Control" taught to third year students in the Instrumentation and Control Engineering department at Kalasalingam University. The course aims to teach students concepts of process dynamics and control to enable them to control real-time systems. Over 15 weeks, topics will include mathematical modeling of processes, different types of controllers, controller tuning, advanced controllers, and design of controllers for real-time systems. Evaluation will consist of two semester exams testing topics 1-18 and 19-34 from the lesson plan.
