Questions:
What are the words have you written? What do they tell us? What are the possible
questions so you have those words as the answers?
What are those words and when do we use it?
Adjectives are words that modify nouns or pronouns. It will answer what kind, how many
or which one. It can be quantity, quality, size or shape, age, color or origin
It will be AQQSACO- Articles, Quantity, Quality, Size or Shape, Age, Color and Origin
Adjectives can be in series. Follow the AQQSACO for correct order or series.
When a series of modifiers precede noun or pronoun, the modifiers may be placed in this
order: article, quantity (ordinal/cardinal) quality, size, age color, origin. (AQQSACO)
Follow this order when using series of adjectives.
1. Tell which one- Articles- a, an, the, this these, that, those

Quantity-( ordinal)-first, second, third, etc.

S 3. Tell what kind- Quality ex. Religious, stable, happy, etc.

Task 2: Use Me
Direction: Use the words you have listed in Task 1. Use it in sentnces. Be able to use it
before the noun being described/modified, then add more adjectives to have series of
modifiers. Be sure to follow the AQQSACO

Part 3: Identify the tone, mood and feeling of the writer and/ or the reader.
Tone: A writing’s tone is established through word choices, use of literary devices,
grammar, rhythm, and rhyme etc. Tone is the overall ‘flavour’ of the story that is created by
using all of these techniques combined. It is the attitude the writer displays towards their subject
or theme.
Mood: This is about the effect the writer creates in the reader and how they evoke it
through the use of language. The attitude/feeling of the reader towards the subject/characters.
