The Antipolo Choir Competition 2020 will be held virtually via Facebook Live on December 21st. The competition is open to amateur quartets residing in Antipolo for at least 1 year. Groups can submit application forms until December 15th and the top 10 groups will perform in the finals. CHOIR COMPETITION 2020 (QUARTET EDITION)
Virtual Platform – Thru FB Live
1. The competition is open to amateur quartet groups who are residents of Antipolo. At least 1 year residency. 2. The group can be composed of male and or female members, all male or female. 3. Official Application Forms will be sent to your provided e-mail or messenger 4. Last day for submission of entries will be on Dec. 15, 2020 from 8:00 AM until 5:00 PM thru online and will be sent to [email protected]. However, the competition organizers reserve the right to extend the deadline, should the need arises. 5. 10 (Ten) groups will qualify for the Choir Competition Finals which will be held on December 21, 2020 via FB live 6. Those who will qualify for the Finals will be required to submit the following: a. List of participants with photo copies of their IDs b. There must be a waiver from the parents / guardians for any participant/s below 18 years old. c. Prepare a brief background of your group at least 3-5 sentences. d. There must be a focal person per group who will be in charge for all the communications. 7. There will be 2 song competition pieces for the Finals which are as follows: a. √ Choice Christmas Piece by the group (English or Tagalog) b. √ The Competition Piece: Original arrangement of “Tayo Na’t Magpasko sa Antipolo” (Focal person are requested to coordinate with the AnCCATPO staff.) 8. Pieces can be sung in acapella or with instrumental accompaniment. 9. Each group will be given a minimum of five (5) and maximum of twelve (10) minutes to perform 10. The group’s entry shall be on a scheduled shoot, depending on the preference of the group with the observance of strict health protocols. 11. Performances and running orders shall be determined by drawing of lots and will serve as the official number of each group during the competition’s launch through FB live. 12. There will be three (3) judges for the Finals Night. Judges’ decision will be final and irrevocable.
