Tank General Information Circumference Information (Millimeter)

1. The document provides information on a cylindrical gasoline storage tank, including its dimensions, material properties, calibration details, and measurements taken at the time of calibration using the strapping method. 2. Two months after calibration, a new reading of 3.217 meters is taken from the dip tape with a fluid temperature of 22°C and ambient temperature of 24°C. Calculations are required to determine the current tank inventory at 60°F. 3. Additional information is given on an empty spherical tank that was previously calibrated, including measurements taken of its equatorial band and two meridian bands at a temperature of 20°C, along with the pole height measured at that same temperature. Conversions are needed

1- The information in the table on the previous page is available for a cylindrical tank at the time of
calibration (the mentioned environments are related to the calibration time and after applying
corrections to the strapping method).
Now, after two months from the time of calibration to obtain the tank inventory, the number read on the
dip tape is 3.217 meters and the temperature of the fluid and the environment are 22 and 24
degrees Celsius, respectively. Calculate the tank inventory at 60 °F (by writing the calculations and formulas
used in full).

2- The empty spherical tank is calibrated at a temperature of 20 °C, the equatorial medium and its two
semiconductor environments at this temperature are 20.103, 20.121 and 20.115, respectively. If the
height of the pole to the pole of the tank at this temperature is 6.39 meters, it is desirable to calculate the
enclosed volume from a height of 3.4 to 3.42 meters at a temperature of 60 °F.
