PUZZLE - 1

Directions: Study the given information carefully to answer


the given questions:
Six persons from A to F are working in Police department on
different ranks/posts among SP, DSP, ASP, SI, ASI and Constable. The
above posts are mentioned as per descending order of ranks i.e. SP
is the senior most and Constable is the junior most post. All of them
get different salaries (in Rs.) such that neither two persons get same
salary nor belong to same post.
Note- Higher designation does not necessarily mean that the salary
should also be higher.
C is designated 3 ranks above the one whose salary is 15000. D is
ranked just above A, whose salary is 20000. D is DSP and receives
salary of Rs. 24000. F is ranked just above ASI. E's salary is 3000
more than that of the one who is Constable. B's salary is twice the
salary of the one who is SI. C's salary is 1000 more than the one who
is ranked second lowest.
PUZZLE - 2
Directions: Study the given information carefully to answer
the given questions:
In a vertical stack of 14 rows, 8 colored boxes of color White, Pink,
Red, Grey, Black, Yellow, Green, and Blue (color formed by mixing Blue
and Yellow color is Green) named A, B, C, D, E, E G and H are placed,
not necessarily in the same order. Each row contains one box only.
E and H are placed exactly in the middle rows of the stack. One of
those is White in color while the other one is Black. The box named A
is Pink in color and is in the fifth row from the top. There are only
three boxes above A. D is a Blue colored box and is placed on the top.
The box, whose color is formed by mixing Blue and Yellow color, is
placed exactly in the middle of these two. There are two consecutive
vacant rows between G and the box whose color is Red. F is placed in
the third row from the bottom. The grey colored box is just beneath
the black colored box. There are two boxes placed between E and B.
C is not adjacent to D.

Directions: Study the given information carefully to answer
the given questions:
Ten persons viz. P, Q, R, S, T, U, V, W, X, and Y have seminars in
February, April, May, September and December with two seminars
in each month but not necessarily in the same order. Seminar is
scheduled either on 9th or 17th of a month. Seminar of Q is in the
month having 31 days but before S. Seminar of R and S is not
scheduled in the same month. Seminar of U is in April and on one
of the days before S. P and T have seminars in the same month.
There are only three seminars scheduled between U and V whose
seminar is not scheduled immediately after Q. Neither R nor X has
seminar in the month having 30 days. Seminar of W is on 17th of
September. Seminar of S is not scheduled on 17th of any month.
PUZZLE - 4
Directions: Study the given information carefully to answer
the given questions:
Anil, Dinesh, Girish, Kushal, Lipin and Nitin live on different floors in
the same building having six floors numbered one to six (the
ground floor is numbered 1, the floor above it, number 2 and so on
and the top most floor is numbered 6).
Dinesh lives on a floor below Nitin's floor. Anil does not live on an
odd numbered floor. There is only one floor between the floors on
which Kushal and Lipin live. Lipin does not live on a floor
immediately above or immediately below the floor on which Girish
lives. There are two floors between the floors on which Dinesh and
Nitin live. Neither Anil nor Lipin lives on a floor immediately above
or immediately below the floor on which Dinesh lives.
PUZZLE - 5
Directions: Study the given information carefully to answer
the given questions:
There are six students A, B, C, D, E and F in the class who got
different marks in the examination. D is the only person who failed
in the examination. F have scored more marks than E and B but he
is not topper of the class. C has scored 2 marks more than E but 5
marks less than B.

Who is the topper of the class?

Directions: Study the given information carefully to answer
the given questions:
Seven persons D, F, G, H, J, K, L participate in three different games
viz. Cricket, Football, Tennis on different days of a week starting
from Monday to Sunday but not necessarily in the same order. Not
more than three persons participate in a single game. L participate
in Tennis with only that person, who participate on Thursday. F
participate in Cricket on Saturday. Only two persons participate in
between L and K. Only two persons participate in between F and D,
who participate in Cricket. Only two persons participate in Football.
K does not participate on Tuesday. As many as person participate
between G and J as between H and J. G and K does not participate
in Cricket. G does not participate on Sunday.
PUZZLE - 7
Directions: Study the given information carefully to answer
the given questions:
Seven boxes M, N, O, P, Q, R and S are placed one above another but not
necessarily in the same order. They all are of different colours i.e. Black,
Yellow, Pink, Red, Orange, Violet and Blue but not necessarily in the same
order. These boxes contain different items i.e. Chocolate, Stationary,
Mobile, Coffee, Tea Bags, Spices and Cold drinks but not necessarily in the
same order.
Box M contains Cold drinks and placed above the box S but not immediate
above. Box R is of yellow colour and does not contains Mobile and Tea
Bag but is kept immediately above the box which is pink in colour. There
are two boxes kept between Box N and the box which is of Blue in colour.
Box O is of Violet in colour and contains Chocolate. There is one box kept
between box P and S, which contains Spices. There is no any box above
box M. Box S is kept immediate above box N. There is only one box kept
between the box N and the box which is Yellow in colour. Box P is kept
immediately above box R. Box Q does not contains Mobile. The Box which
is of Red in colour contains Stationary item. Box P is of Black in colour.
PUZZLE - 8
Directions: Study the given information carefully to answer
the given questions:
Eight persons B, M, K, O, Y, G, D, V watch a movie on different
timings viz. 5:30pm, 6:15pm, 7:00pm,
7:45pm, 8:00pm, 8:30pm, 9:45pm, 10:15pm in a day. Two persons
watch movie in between V and K who watch movie on 9:45pm.
There is a gap of one hour in between M and Y watch movie. No
body watches movie in between G and D. B watches movie before
O. There is a gap of two and half an hour of watching movie in
between G and Y.
