etc. Whenever a new part is created it should be assigned with a unique Part number
using which other teams of Emerson will Price, Order, Quote and create Proposals for
the Part.

Responsibilities:

 Understanding the requirements of RAS users and preparing a BRUD document.

 Analyzing on the pain areas in Customers work and working on providing an
efficient UI and capabilities to the User.

About the Project:

Emerson was already using an application for the Part number creation which
was developed in Mod PLSQL technology which is a very old technology. We have
developed a new application in Oracle Apex 4.2 and also have the designed the DB to
include old functions and new requirements by customer. Finally a User friendly UI
along with a well-designed DB was developed at the end of this project.

Responsibilities:

 Understanding the existing application and its features and documenting it for our
reference and Interaction with clients on requirements gathering for new business
requirements and also clarifications on existing system functionality

 Analysis of new requirement and preparing Functional and technical requirement
document and also worked on new Data model.
 Created tables, views, Triggers, functions and packages to suit the client

 Developed the new forms for the creation of Parts, Price, Costs and Master LOV’s
(Master data)
 Based on requirements created regional tabs using Jquery as apex doesn’t provide
this feature

Oracle APEX in a machine
