About the role:

We are looking for a Front-End Web Developer who is motivated to


combine the art of design with the art of programming. Responsibilities will
include translation of the UI/UX design wireframes to actual code that will
produce visual elements of the application. You will work with the UI/UX
designers and bridge the gap between graphical design and technical
implementation, taking an active role on both sides and defining how the
application looks as well as how it works.

Ultimately, you will deploy and maintain functional, secure and high-quality
applications and will be working on cutting-edge technologies and
architectures. Our front-end technical stack includes React and Node and
the back-end technical stack includes restful services via Jersey with
storage in Apache Cassandra, search via Apache Solr, queuing using
Apache Kafka and machine learing using Apache PredictionIO.
Responsibilities:

As a front-end developer, you responsibility will include (but not limited to)
the activities mentioned below.

• Identify and analyze user requirements


• Prioritize, assign and execute tasks throughout the software
development life cycle
• Develop and manage user facing features
• Write well-designed, efficient and reusable code
• Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
• Document development phases
• Ensure our applications are secure and up-to-date
• Good knowledge and hands on experience with development operations

Front-end Developer

Background:

As a front-end developer, you would need to have the following:

• Around 3+ years of experience of developing enterprise applications


with cutting edge technologies
• Bachelor or Master’s Degree in Computer Science
• Proficient understanding of web markup, including HTML5, CSS3
• Proficient understanding of client-side scripting and JavaScript
frameworks, including jQuery and React
• Basic understanding of server-side CSS pre-processing platforms
• Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways
to work around them
• Good understanding of SEO principles and ensuring that application will
adhere to them
• Good understanding of operating system principles and OS like
Linux/Unix
