Team lead responsible for providing systems programming support for 5 LPARS across two
datacenters(10 LPARS total). Currently running z/OS 2.1 and upgrading to z/OS 2.3. Just migrated for two
BC12s to two z14r1. Products supported DB2, CICS, CA

z/OS Systems Programmer

July 2013 to December 2018
- Responsible for providing systems programming support for
28 LPARs (15k+ MIPs) of z/OS 1.13 running on multiple IBM EC12 and z/10 processors in a parallel Sysplex
environment. Currently preparing for z/OS 2.1 migration in the Fall of 2014 by upgrading WLM and
TADz. Performed installation and/or maintenance using SMP/E for zSecure, ICSF and WLM. Responsible
for all support issues related to Dec. 2018 WLM, MainView and COBOL report writer. Provides on-
call rotation support every other month for all systems related problems and maintenance. Primarily
utilizes MainView (with some TADz) for monitoring batch thresholds on overseas processors and provides
recommendations to Capacity/Performance group on when to reschedule batch runs to ensure lower
operating costs. Other products supported include: XCF, LDAP and JQP.

AEGON Insurance Company


August 2005 to July 2013
Mainframe RACF Security Support (Aug. 2005-July 2013) - Responsible for providing RACF administration
support for six z/OS LPARS for AEGON Insurance Company USA. Initially started as a contractor and was
hired into a full time position. Utilized RACF skills to support and maintain the secure environment as
well as system integrity. Provided UNIX security administration as well as AIX Security. Responsible for
RACF system management and data integrity as well as audit readiness.

Senior z/OS Systems Programmer/Systems Programmer

June 2000 to June 2005
Initially responsible for providing program product support for IBM customers at the Lexington, KY
Regional data center. After approximately 18 months was given sole responsibility for selected customer
accounts. Including planning and implementation of operating system upgrades and migration from OEM
products to IBM. Specific accomplishments included:

• Installed OS/390 2.8, OS/390 2.10, z/OS 1.2 and z/OS 1.4 via ServerPac.
• Provided UNIX Systems Services Support.
• Provided SMP/E installation, customization and support of operating system software including z/OS
1.4.
• Provided SMP/E installation, customization and problem determination for OEM software.
• Converted to OPC from CA-7.
• Converted to RACF from CA-ACF2.
• Converted to IBM File-Manager from Compuware FileAid.
• Converted to IBM Fault Analyzer from Compuware AbendAid.
• Converted to RMM from CA-1.
• Converted from CA-MIM to GRS.
• Upgraded multiple OEM products and applied routine maintenance to the operating system.
