    1. Skill 24: Menggunakan 'Coordinate Conjunctions' pada Struktur Kalimat Paralel

    Syarat pakai and, but, or ini jika struktur paralelnya setara. Setara ini misalnya sama-sama noun, sama-
    sama verb, sama-sama adjective, atau sama-sama frasa.

    A. (same structure) (and, but, or) (same structure)

    co: I need to talk to the manager or the assistant manager (sama-sama nouns)

    He only eats and sleeps when he takes a vacation (sama-sama verbs)

    The exam that he gave was short but difficult (sama-sama kata sifat)

    B. (same structure), (same structure), and, but, or (same structure)

    2. Skill 25: Menggunakan 'Paired Conjunctions' pada Struktur Kalimat Paralel

    Aturannya sama dengan skill 24 sama-sama yaitu membutuhkan struktur paralel yang setara.
    Dinamakan paired conjunctions karena memang harus satu pasang.

    Contoh:

    both pasangannya dengan and

    either pasangannya or

    neither pasangannya nor

    not only pasangannya but also

    Aturan di atas gabisa dituker-tuker. Kalo ketuker berarti salah.

    Contoh:

    I want both this book or that one (SALAH)

    I want both this book and that one (BENAR)

    Either Sam nor Sue is taking the course (SALAH)

    Either Sam or Sure is taking the course (BENAR)

    He wants to go either by train or by plane

    Aturannya sama dengan di atas yaitu harus setara.

    structure)

    Contoh: My school is farther than your school

    What is written is more easily understood than what is spoken

    Their car is as big as a small house
