 Executive Summary

Overview: -
It is a mechanical and electrical base project to produce energy/electricity through Piezoelectric
material and generator which is cheaper as compared to other processes. We will integrate
Application from which can keep track of Energy Produced and further the amount will given
against the stored Energy. Stated below are mechanism used.
For Generator: -
For generator, when the force is applied, Rack moves downward and pinion rotates the shaft.
This rotation is transferred to the gear 5 in the below figure through chain drive that is attached
to the flywheel (for continuous rotation). The second shaft transfers the rotation to the generator
to rotate it and the energy/electricity produced by rotation is stored in the batteries after
rectification and vice versa.

For Piezo-electric Material: -

The energy harvesting via Piezoelectricity uses direct piezoelectric effect when mechanical stress
is applied it produce energy/electricity. Further energy is converted into smooth signals after
electronic circuitry and then stored in battery.

Both mechanisms are used together to generate energy/Electricity so that effiency can be
increased.

The main market need is that we have monopoly in Pakistan for electricity production. We have
only one option to take electricity from Wapda as that’s the only organization providing this
facility all over Pakistan.Market need is to break the monopoly created by Wapda. Demands of
customer for electricity is much higher then it’s production so there is a market need to have any
other source that generate electricity so that load shedding can be reduced.

There are 2 members behind this venture who are Founder and CEO of the company and other 3
person include in which one is technical manager and rest of them are Marketing and Sales
Manager respectively. Both CEO has technical management skills as well as marketing skills,
know how to work as a team and has solved different problems regarding design and
implementation, marketing and sales problems. Other than the team there is a board with
professional skills who has helped us solving knotty problems and even changed the
management plans.

Complete Manufacturing process

First of all, idea and design of the project was implemented on the piece of paper then design
was implemented on the SolidWorks Professional 2017 software to design the parts of the
project more clearly. After completing this steps, Parts were made by the manufacturer by our
specification. Specially designed springs were made for this project so that it can give maximum
efficiency of the piezo-electric material. For chain sprocket, locally made chain sprocket were
used in order to make the product low costly.
