Silencer Analysis

This document provides input data for the analysis and design of a silencer including its dimensions, material properties, weights, and design loads. Key points: 1. The silencer is 8800mm wide, 3000mm tall with 11 perforated steel splitters that are 8400mm long to reduce noise. 2. Each splitter weighs approximately 1009kg and the total weight of the silencer system to be supported is 910,000kg. 3. The design considers internal pressure of 4kPa, wind loads, and the dead weight of the structure to calculate ultimate design loads. 4. Preliminary checks of the splitter support beam show it is adequately sized to resist bending, shear
