There is news regarding poor employee treatment. People also complain about the quality

ACTIVITY 3- Simple Marketing Plan

Given what you now know about your customers and competitors, write a brief discussion on following
questions that will make up your Marketing Plan.

PRODUCT – What is your Product/Service? What will make customers buy from you and not from
your competitors?

My products are burgers, hotdogs, sandwiches and fries which are made from clean environment
and fresh ingredients. Customers will buy from me because rest assured that my burgers will
meet their expectation. Also, it’s not bad to try new products from new businesses. Consumers
are always ready to try new products in the market, and I am sure that they will try my burgers.

PRICE – At what price(s) will you sell your product so that you can earn more? How does your
price(s) compare with your competitors’? (Is your price higher, lower, or the same?) Why?

I will sell my products for around Php 30.00 to Php 60.00. The prices of my products
are almost the same as my competitors’; since we sell the same products, our
ingredients are also the same.

Will you give discounts? How much?

No, I will not give any discounts. However, there will be a Buy 1 Take 1 Promo.

Will you sell on credit? To whom? Why? How will you collect? Will you charge interest?

No, I will not sell on credit. My business is food, I do not render service, therefore, I need cash
payments. Customers should be able to pay right after they have ordered.
PLACE – Where do you plan to sell your product/service? How do you plan to distribute it?
(Retail/Wholesale, Direct/Indirect?) Why?

I plan to sell my products within our house. I will set-up a burger machine-like place where
my products will be cooked. Also, I will put chairs so customers can opt to eat at my place.
Since my business just started, I cannot do franchise or sell it to other businesses.

PROMOTION – How will you inform your customers about your product/service? How will you
promote your product to get more sales? Will you give free samples?
To inform other people about my business, I will make a Facebook page in order to advertise
my business. I will also join groups that is involved in selling products. Being active in social
media is an advantage to my competitors. Through social media, I will reach more potential
